Anchor Inn and Cottages Wells-Ogunquit

The bathtubs are so slippery I had to plant my feet on each side of the tub and not move them afraid of slipping. No Breakfast Just Not an Experience I wish to Never Have Again. Needs Work

We have been to the Anchor Inn and Cottages before. This was our first time in one of the cottages. Though small, the cottage was comfortable and we appreciated having a microwave and fridge because of our special dietary needs. The bed was comfortable. The inn is dog friendly, and there’s green space and several poop stations around the property. Though not the hotel’s fault, we lost power the first night and had to endure a couple of hours without AC on the hottest day of the year! The bathroom had lots of tiny bugs (teeny ants?) coming up from the tub and sink drains. No matter how many we killed or flushed away, more kept coming. We didn’t feel like we could leave our toiletries in the bathroom. I alerted the front desk that they might need to get an exterminator.

The property was very clean and organized. Had multiple ice machines. The room was clean and comfortable. It had a microwave and fridge. Very safe and great location to the beaches and stores. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would stay again and recommend this property to friends and family.

The bed was so hard we only stayed one of the two nights. We lost money on the second night but it was worth it for the place we moved to the second night

Staff was great and very friendly, place was clean. Few bumps the fridge and microwave and phone didn’t work. Till they fixed them. Bed was horrible it was the worse part of the stay.

Room was clean and well-maintained, with very comfortable beds. Location was great, providing easy driving access to several area beaches in Wells and Ogunquit. A/C unit was fairly loud, although it quickly became white noise in the room given that it was constantly running during our stay. Outdoor pool was a nice bonus feature that we enjoyed one afternoon.

The cabin was perfect. The staff was helpful and the grounds are well kept. Parking is easy. They are very pet friendly.

We stayed in one of the two bedroom cabins. The hotel is in a convenient location only a short drive to shops and beaches. The cabin was ok but not worth the price. It wasn’t the cleanest. Our biggest complaint was the smell of marijuana smoke in our cabin which gave us headaches. Everyone we entered the cabin we were “hit in the face” with the smell. The outdoor pool was nice and seemed like it was the most recent thing updated on the property. The staff was friendly.

The room was very clean and convenient parking. We would stay again.

The town was very pretty and our hotel was in a great location. The bed was hard though. Easy check in and check out.

We had a wonderful stay! The entire property is very clean. Our private suite was very spacious, the pool and outside seating were terrific additions. The staff were very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!!

Get the key and went to room ,found a old dirty spoon on the kitchen sink. Called the front office lady and she said the room already inspected and she didn't believe me what I told her. I just want her to come to the room and take a look herself. She said I have a pet and she can't come. And I told her I can put my pet outside. So she can come just take a LOOK. Finally she came and was she saw that dirty spoon and wow she open the trash can and found old chobani yogurt container there too. And she asked me if I want to change room. Because she said she doesn't want me to complaint and asked for refund. I said Im ok stay at the same room. So she said she has to make a statement that im the one who doesn't want to change the room . Found a flying bug on the living room and at night something crawling on my face but it went to the crack on the wall. Worst bed and they have smallest bath room ever Not worth of money at all

Great location, has a pool, clean cottages, feels very safe (we let our kids run around outside, it’s like a little community) Zero complaints!
