Old Village Inn

The innkeeper Lauren, was just wonderful. She sent a text message the day of check in letting us know we could check in early and directions for everything including where to park and what to do! This inn is in the perfect location and everytime we left we got to greet Lauren. Places like this is what makes me love Maine even more!

Above and beyond expectations doesn’t even come close to describing our experience! From booking through arrival, to checking out it was flawless. The personal attention and welcome from Daniel was the Ogunquit we have known and loved. The drinks and bar staff. (Jack), again perfect and the service and food for dinner was Superb. After years of staying many places , from now on , this is the only place for us . Planning next trip as we speak.

Me and my husband love the Old Village Inn. We visit multiple times a year and it holds a special place in our hearts. From the owner, the innkeeper, and restaurant staff, they all go above and beyond to make you and the stay feel special. It’s in the perfect location right in the heart of Ogunquit and as much as we would love to gate-keep this little gem, this hotel more than deserves the recognition. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, clean and quiet right downtown. Easy walking to restaurants/bars, entertainment and close access to coastal walkway (marginal way). Bed was comfortable and coffee could be found by main entrance. Great stay, would definitely go back!

Hotel was in a perfect location. Helpful staff; great service. The restaurant was so good we ate there 2 nights in a row - a definite plus for this hotel!

Perfect location in the centre of town. Friendly staff. Large and pleasant room. Would stay again.

Excellent facility all around

Food, drinks, staff, room, amenities.... everything was absolutely amazing

The property was right in town, so it was a litle noisy. Also, there was no elevator and the stairs were steep. I had to carry my own bags out into the street and then up the stairs.

She is very attentive to your needs and Jack is an incredible bartender/mixologist. Delicious drinks and great vibe. While we went to a couple different restaurants, I have eaten dinner at the Inn before and the food and service are wonderful.

The Owners and Staff are wonderful. The property is located in the center of the village so that the beach, shops and restaurants are an easy walk. The restaurant on site is very good and the bar is very popular with both guests and locals. We will definitely return for our yearly retreat to Ogunquit.

My husband and I stayed in room 6 and we loved it! The balcony was great. The room was bigger than we expected and very clean.

My only complaint about this lovely property is that I was only there one night. I will definitely be back. Charming inn right in the center of Ogunquit. The restaurant was closed the night I was there but both the restaurant and bar looked charming. I loved the character and vibe of the hotel and my room. My room was spacious, very comfortable and had a sea view. Loved everything.

Our room on the 3rd floor was very nice. The bar and restaurant are hopping and look good. The exterior of the building and the deck off of our room need scraping and painting. Great location though.

Great location, clean room, excellent bar and restaurant downstairs open until 10pm. This was the best meal we had in the three nights we spent in Ogunquit. This property is charming and elegant. I would stay here again!

If looking for any negatives, and this is a stretch, would be to remember this is an old building so you may hear walking above your room (expected) and there is not much space between the toilet and opposite wall.

Stayed for a wedding and we really enjoyed the stay! Very clean, check in was super easy and parking was accessible. We would definitely recommend!

I wanted to love this hotel but it was just a like. The best part was the bed maybe the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. My husband usually wakes up at 6 but slept til 8! However the shower was so small, worse than a cruise ship. I had to step out to shave my legs and I’m a limber 5’2”. Lots of stairs up to your room, also. There’s a restaurant downstairs with a “fun” bar. If u read that as “ noisy” you are getting the picture. It shuts down around 10 or so but if you’re early to bed take this into consideration. Perfect location though.
