Terrace by the Sea

The staff was great and the location was great!!

Great location! Quaint, little hotel, nothing fancy. Only complaint was we were put on the side of the property where we had to park and fight the five way stop sign.

Second time we stayed there all aspects of the property as expected

The hotel was clean but overall I was bummed at our room being directly in the lobby. We got a message prior to our stay, that our room was the smallest on property. This was not listed on the hotels.com listing, and we were only made aware once we got the message from the hotel itself. I had called multiple times to try and move our room, and I had worked with hotels.com to book a different room, and nothing came about. Once we checked in, we were told our room was directly in the lobby. We were so shocked we were not warned about this. The size of the room was not awful, but the room being in the lobby was pretty awful. I tried to move our room due to this, and they were going to charge us $300 more each night for a slightly larger room. I do think hotels.com and the hotel itself, should warn people of this room.

Everything was great. Will definitely return next year.

Breakfast is extremely minimal- nothing fancy. Rooms are very outdated - I did not feel the sheets were cleaned properly, carpet in rooms is a huge no no for hotels. Parking is good and staff is helpful upon arrival

Loved it at The Terrace. We will definitely be back !!

Not a fancy, fussy place, but sweet and elegantly comfortable and welcoming. The location was kind of perfect. A wonderful feature was the lawn with nice chairs to just sit and watch the ocean.

Ocean view within walking distance to everything we were looking for . very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Plan on going back for sure

This property was on my wish list as I have walked by it many times and imagined staying there with that view. The staff was very helpful and parking was easy. Our rooms were in the original building with the water view and outside deck. Although very clean, they definitely need updating- squeaky slider doors, noisy air conditioner, and the size of the bathroom was smaller than small. I guess I expected more for that price point.

What a wonderful location, walkable to the main town and beach. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable , the property manicured and a very nice breakfast. Will definitely be back!

One thing to consider: If you don’t want your phone to die here, pack a charger! It is a must, because there aren’t usb ports in the rooms.

Room was very clean and the staff who came every day to service the room were wonderful and kind, as well as were the rest of the staff. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept and the view of the beach was gorgeous. Loved the continental breakfast included with the stay and the convenience of parking right outside your room at your respective parking spot. Will definitely be back again.

This hotel had a wonderful location and a staff that goes above and behind. My only disappointment was the view from our “partial ocean view”. If you stood right next to the window and crane your neck, you can see the ocean but you certainly can’t see it sitting in a chair or on a bed in the room. Room 209 is not really worth the up charge for the view we had.

The Terrance is zero unique place of many buildings. Our room was second floor and we where helped by the staff with our luggage. Very clean inside and out on the grounds and pool.Nice place to sit outside above the Olunquot River and beach further out .

Great location and best views of the ocean!

Terrace is ideally located in Ogunquit. If you're lucky enough to have a room in the main house facing the ocean, the view is perfect. Else, you can sit on the large grass terrace while you watch the tides come in and go out and catch the activities of the beachgoers and fishermen. The morning buffet is a delightful tradition. Some small maintenance items could be improved, but otherwise it's a perfect Ogunquit get-a-way.
