You get what you pay for, I just needed a place to sleep for 1 night. Checked in late and left early but the room was pretty shabby. They have installed new carpet and a new chair but the mattress was terrible and so was the air conditioner. It was really dirty and had a dirty smell. It's just an old hotel and they have done a little to make it more updated but they have a long way to go.

Trash and dirty diapers in drained pool, no outside door access, no lobby restrooms. Nightmare hotel, had to get another hotel and hotels.com don’t want to refund us for not staying

The quality of the room and hotel areas were not up to par with a $94 stay. It was more to the equivalent of a $40 motel stay. Doors were broken, there was mold on the bathtub, our sliding door did not have a bar lock on it, the pool was disgusting and not kept up. There were dead animals lying around the hotel grounds, and there were spider webs in the corners. It was clearly not kept up well, but just enough to get good pictures to entice people to stay. The pool was advertised, but it was not usable. It has not been maintained for at least several months, if not longer. We were told the manager would be in at 8 am and to talk to her then. But when we went to talk to her in the morning, they told us the manager had the overnight shift and had left at 7am. Completely unacceptable and not up to par with a Baymont hotel at all.

Worst experience ever no water pressure coffee maker didn't work checked out early and moved washed hands in shower mentioned everything on check out girl said rooms are checked everyday someone is not doing they're job

Don't bring your family to stay here, not a place you want your kids to be at. The property is unsafe, I saw two prostitute getting pick up and the doors don't close. There's holes on the walls and broken windows. The property looks like sex trafficking goes on there.

Pool is filled with algae. Rooms are boarded up courtyard grass is super high and their acclaimed hot breakfast is cold cereal and a pancake maker. Says nonsmoking but property reeks of smoke and marijuana and the housekeepers are super rude and they start calling room and hour before checkout repeatedly to remind u of checkout time. Never again will we stay there.

When I went to check-in, I was told that none of the doors was working on either side and being placed in the back of the hotel, had to walk all the way to the front to get service. Then the night manager at the moment was very rude with his responses

Great experience! Nice motel for a night or two. Clean, comfy, eady to find, easy access to interstate and nice people!
-
Property is dilapidated and is in horrible shape, worst stay we have ever had.

I feel bad leaving a bad review because the staff were extremely nice. But the condition of this hotel was absolutely horrendous. It reminded me of what a transition house that homeless people would live in while on government assistance. More than once I was reminded of the Stephen King movie the Shining while I walked through the very long hallway to my room. What was extraordinary is that during my 3 day stay, I never seen more than 5 or 6 cars in the parking lot and the hotel must of had 80 plus rooms. Honestly, the hotel looked like it was in foreclosure. But if you enjoy the smell of cigarettes, Marijuana and malt liquor, then this is the place for you. Again, the staff were extremely friendly, but it was obvious that it was in an effort to make up for the utter disaster of a hotel that it was.

I hope they are in the middle of a remodel.

We were told at front desk that it was not a safe area. Vehicle break ins happen there routinely. The room was filthy. The toilet had hairs all over it. the bedding and pillow cases had make up and stains on them. Mold on wall near A/C unit. It was so dirty in the room.
-
Hot water was not working had to call the front desk

After checking in and driving around to my room, kept driving back around and told desk clerk I absolutely could not stay here. Vagrants wandering, torn up parking lot, truck stop next door, bus station across the street. Desk clerk offered to let me park my car up front near door “for safety” but I absolutely did not feel safe leaving my car here, much less staying here!

I'd stay away. Poor location, very run down, and dirty overall. We couldn't wait to get out and didn't feel safe at all.
-
Nice room toilet made noises all night though.

Acceptable

The room was okay. The fixtures, curtains, and linens were shabby but the room appeared to be clean. The most concerning part was the absence of many other vehicles or lodgers and also all of the broken glass, empty tiny liquor bottles, and trash in the parking lot by our entrance. It was spooky.

The worst hotel stay I have had in 31 years. Baymont is usually pretty nice. This is not a baymont it’s a days inn that they are marketing at baymont price. The room had yellow sheets, the door didn’t lock. No alarm clock in the room. Pay $20 bucks and stay somewhere else.
