Super 8 by Wyndham Oklahoma Airport Fairgrounds West

I had checked into this hotel but the room smelled terribly like smoke. It was so bad I just opened the door and shut it right away. There were people shooting up drugs outside on the stairwell. There was also a lot of people loitering in the parking lot drinking and smoking. I went back to the office and canceled our stay. They said they couldn't refund because I ordered through a third party. I contacted hotels.com about this and they said they would check back with the hotel about the refund. The hotel wouldn't refund even though I did not stay there.

Nothing It’s wasn’t cleaned

Absolutely nothing The gentleman that checked us in was nice but quickly informed us that “Breakfast included” was not what most people would think it meant - supposedly there is coffee and juice in lobby but all the times I went in the morning there was none, “granola bars” were also supposed to be offered but held behind the desk “due to the area”. If staying a week (or more) housekeeping is every other day, not daily, which wouldn’t be a bad thing but they don’t actually leave enough towels/washcloths/bathroom rug when they come. Vending machines were listed as being on the property, did not see any. No hairdryer, no tea/coffee maker in the rooms. Walls, doors and ceiling had stains and paint chips, and sloppy fixes. Did have a small shampoo bottle and 2 bar soaps but no where to put them in the shower except the floor or on the back of the toilet while showering. had many issues with room: toilet seat was loose and unsafe for 4.5 days of our trip and was fixed at some point on day 5. The doorknob to the bathroom was extremely loose to the point that we didn’t feel safe shutting the door fully fearing being locked in the bathroom and not being able to get out. The smoke detector had no battery in it. The linens/pillows were clean when we arrived but half way through our trip when the linens/pillows were changed out, pillow cases with stains and linens with stains and small holes (that looked like burn marks) were placed on the bed. When we called and complained the person at front desk said he was by himself and did not have access to any housekeeping items. He didn’t offer to move us rooms but could not verify if there was a room to move us to and due to time of night (9pm) we did not feel safe in the area with moving our things to a new room. He did let me know that the manager would be contacting me about the issues. I never heard from the manager.

The bath tub drain was clogged with so much hair that it had difficulty draining when I showered. The toilet tank lid was busted up. When I got in the room there was garbage behind the toilet. There were pieces missing from the furniture. The toilet paper holder was missing pieces. All extra security measures on the door did not function.

Front desk service.. Ms. Anna, made accommodation to fit my needs because I have bad knees. Ms. Anna made sure I got a lower level room.. Thanks!!

Everything in the room worked (A/C, shower, fridge). CONS: First thing you'll notice is the property isn't very clean. Locals walking through the area, but none bothered guests. I did see a security car drive through the parking lot early evening, and later a police car. Some locals loitering across the street in a parking lot. Don't recommend wandering around the property after 9pm. Ok for one-maybe two-nights.

Toilet didn’t flush

It had four walls. Rooms weren't as nice as advertised pictures showed.. the breakfast was a kid size granola bar...

The front desk staff are very nice very helpful parking is very easy rooms are very clean air conditioning works great. My only critique is housekeeping needs to do a better job when it comes to cleaning the rooms of the tenants that are currently staying in the rooms when they are out and about they should come back to a clean room with fresh towels and clean linen.

The price Someone was knocking the door at 2 am was very uncomfortable and scary. Can smell Marijuana everywhere. Don't recommend it.

Staff Night walkers standing , sitting, being loud on the staircase all hours of the night.

Nothing. The room smelled like cigarettes & we didn’t end up staying. Everything.

The doors face the parking lot and it is loud outside, made sleeping a bit challenging. Room had a smoked-in smell and was a bit creepy but that can’t be helped.

Location Crackheads

Nothing, it was horrible! There were people openly doing drugs on the stairs, not even trying to hide it. That alone tells me they know it is allowed there because if not they would have at least tried to hide it. There were people (multiple people) screaming and hollering obscenities, so dopes out of their minds that they didn’t even know that there was anyone else around them. One woman came running around the corner and about knocked me over than cussed at me because my service dog barked at her when she almost plowed into me. They don’t have breakfast as the booking claims. I was lied to about the amount of the deposit. And I paid for 3 nights, but did not continue my stay because it was just that bad of a place. I was scared when I had to go to my car or let my dog out, and I don’t scare easily. There was one man right out side my door screaming and yelling for 2 hours or more straight ripping his clothes off and scratching himself from about midnight all the way up until 2 or so in the morning. I called the front desk and the man acted annoyed and said he would send security to deal with it. I waited and waited, and they never came. I finally called the police, but they took forever. When I called back to the front desk, the guy was really rude to me, and was very dismissive of the fact that it was upsetting to pay to sleep somewhere and not be able to sleep there because of what they allow. My room was supposed to be non smoking, but there was a smoked blunt on the floor. The main lights didn’t even work to come on at all. There was trash blowing all around the parking lot. And the motel looked absolutely nothing like in the pics. I literally have NEVER stayed at a motel this bad before in my entire life!!!

I'll just get straight to the point, they're going to find a way to keep your $50 cash deposit! I almost felt like I was hustle till I seen it happen to two people who had two rooms for something small like a dirty towel 50 bucks enjoy it I'll never be back deposit scam

Yall they have done an amazing job cleaning up this area of Oklahoma city. I recommend the super8 on s meridian Ave over the motel6 on the 40 service rd up the street
