The room was very clean and staff was very friendly, ther was no problem parking.

Rm 24, corner room, street view, not beach view. Quaint.

Everything was satisfactory, Our room was clean and the staff was great. We really enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. Thank you! 😊

Room was okay. Not the cleanest. Floor was sticky. Definitely had to wear your shoes. Beds were clean but not too comfortable. Could have used some updates. Bathroom and couch. Pool area was great. And location was also great. Right on the beach! Parking was okay but we had a second vehicle and the had her park in another parking lot. The next day someone said she had to move because that was for beach parking only. So they had her move to another parking lot farther away. That was kind of an inconvenience. Overall the place was okay. If had to stay another weekend, wouldn't totally object.

The only complaint I had was the room did not have black out curtains and when the sun came up it went right through the sides of the blinds. It was a beautiful room,

Beautifully renovated rooms

The location and the architecture of the house Nothing, perfect stay!

Stayed in the old Victorian house, lobby and sitting areas inside were very nice. Outdoor patio and screened in patio are great places to relax after a long day at the beach and visiting Palace Playland. Rooms are small (typical of tha house of that era), but we didn’t go to Old Orchard Beach to sit around in a hotel room so not a deal breaker. Less than a minute to access the beach and under a ten minute walk to Palace Playland. We plan on going back again next summer for a week and will definitely try to book the larger suite that faces the ocean.

Cons: We didn’t have a view from our room, it was just another building we were looking at. The room itself was quite small and not very sound proof, you can hear people walking around. The pros heavily outweighed the cons imo and I would stay here again without hesitating. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the amenities but there are several pools that looked very nice and the grounds were well kept.

How thin the walls were. We could hear everything outside our room and people could hear us.

Clean room, newly updated. Staff were extremely helpful. And the beach front property was maintained wonderfully.

Zero intimacy, we hear everything from the other rooms

I rated everything excellent due to the staff being very accommodating in changing my room which was very dark- outdated and have a horrible smell- no sun at all. For the price o paid I expected more- We were put in a room at the main building _ it faced the ocean and so bright and sunny- everything was clean with a great shower. Bed super comfortable- great location close to everything with just a short walk. We will definitely stay here again - we ended up requesting an extra day and were able to get it- I thank all for he staff for making our stay extreme enjoyable.

I booked through Hotels.com for a weekend stay to celebrate our father's surprise birthday. When making the reservation, I carefully selected three rooms based on our group's sleeping arrangements: one room with two queen beds, one room with one king bed, and one room with a king bed and sofa bed. About a week before our stay, I called the hotel to confirm our reservations. The receptionist informed me that the room types I had booked were actually located at one of their other properties and were not available at this location. It was then that I was told that every room at this property only has one king bed. This was disappointing because I specifically chose those room types on their booking website so everyone in our group could have their own sleeping space without having to share beds. Had the listing accurately reflected the room options at this property, I would have booked somewhere else that better met our needs. Thankfully, the staff was friendly and our stay itself ended up being enjoyable. My only complaint is that the room descriptions on Hotels.com (or the hotel's booking information) need to be updated so future guests know exactly what accommodations are available before they book. parking on site (as we are all from out of town with vehicles) and walking to the beach were amazing. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of pillows!
