Room was spacious and very clean, staff was very friendly, would recommend this hotel on the beach.

property was not as advertised, it was old and run down and way too expensive for what it offered, certainly not something to repeat, simply not worth the money.

I liked the looks of the decor and that it was quaint. I liked it was very close to the ocean but not too close. There wasn’t any breakfast included and that The people that were on the porch late at night and early morning kept waking me as the room is not sound proof.

The bed.

The closeness to the beach, the relaxing atmosphere of the Inn, and the beautiful ocean view. We could hear the waves from our room; we really felt on vacation. We also liked that we had access to all 4 resort pools and the hot tub. Rooms are not soundproof, and during our stay, patrons could sometimes be loud in their rooms, common areas, or in the garden. Something to keep in mind! The AC helped cover the noise, but if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs.

Definitely would stay again

Very clean and was on the beach and walking distance to restaurants, shops, and bars. Nothing, everything was perfect!

There weren't any places to hang wet towels or a place to rinse your feet after the beach. I didn't like that you had to walk across the street to check in at a different motel.

We enjoyed how close we were to the beach. We had an experience with bed bugs in our room. We contacted housekeeping and they did an amazing job of contacting the manager right away. Management removed the mattress and box spring, replaced it with new. The room was sprayed as well. However, management never checked on us to see if we were ok. We asked to have our room discounted since we experienced this issue, and again no response. Now we have to deal with not taking this home with us. The aftermath that we had to take example: 10 loads of laundry, bagging our items and clothes and to keep our own home from being infested with bedbugs has been a nightmare. I was disappointed that we had to go through this once returning home.

Been a visitor to Lafayette Hotels for 20 + years, have stayed at Waves and Seaview, big fans!

This hotel was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Everything was great. I didnt dislike anything.

The location was nice and the it was great that the beach was within walking distance. We stepped out of our room and the beach access was just right around the corner. Everything was great except for the Amtrak train running through at 4am! The bikers were particularly loud late at night revving up their engines so we really didn't get much sleep.

Peace and quiet

We loved the stand alone big house right on the ocean. It was wonderful to just walk outside and be on the beach. We liked the unique vintage home with big living room . Probably not for everyone (the sink is in the bedroom and not in the bathroom) but we love a unique property. Note this is just one building in 5 or so more traditional motel style buildings. Need a hose out front to wash off the sand.

Great beach motel

We have been coming here since they opened. Love the rooms. Very satisfied and the beds ate so very comfortable.

The location was perfect, the beach is right outside. There's a hose for rinsing off sand before going inside. We loved the lawn! Chairs, tables, and a grill right outside the room. The heat is very efficient, which is good for cold rainy days. Parking is tight.
