The Gull Oceanside Inn & Motel

It was great

Location to the beach was great Room with a deck or porch

The location was in easy walking distance to the beach and eateries. The “hot” water was tepid even after letting it run . Expect a cool shower. The beverage bar in a dark corner lacked a working light to see with. The Keurig kept flashing it needed to be descaled. The bed slats were so noisy !!

There was no breakfast there was no supplies to make coffee or tea. Another person that was staying in that motel provided the coffee, tea and creamer. No staff to provide these items. Beach location was good. Didn’t like the mattress on the bed you need to replace it and put a new one it sunk in laying on it very uncomfortable didn’t like the sink in the room should’ve been in the bathroom and it was hard to Unlock and lock doors was kind of hard at times had to pull the door to lock and unlock it should be updated. Also, the windows were missing curtains they only had blinds should have update furniture chairs were sunk in when you sat in them no table to put things on or to eat on.

Very clean. Staff was very friendly. Beach was a one min walk from our door. Amusement park & town center was also just a quick walk away. Plenty of coffee and breakfast places nearby. Loud train did go by every few hours but didn’t bother us personally. Would stay here again for sure!

Room was spacious and very clean, staff was very friendly, would recommend this hotel on the beach.

property was not as advertised, it was old and run down and way too expensive for what it offered, certainly not something to repeat, simply not worth the money.

Parking

Loved the bed very comfortable. Also loved the heated pool and how close it was to the beach. Did have a little patio with chairs to sit outside, really liked this part. Can't think of anything except I did not realize there cooking available.

It was away from the hustle and bustle enough to really enjoy the beach. The train is super close and runs all night long.

I liked the looks of the decor and that it was quaint. I liked it was very close to the ocean but not too close. There wasn’t any breakfast included and that The people that were on the porch late at night and early morning kept waking me as the room is not sound proof.

The bed.

The closeness to the beach, the relaxing atmosphere of the Inn, and the beautiful ocean view. We could hear the waves from our room; we really felt on vacation. We also liked that we had access to all 4 resort pools and the hot tub. Rooms are not soundproof, and during our stay, patrons could sometimes be loud in their rooms, common areas, or in the garden. Something to keep in mind! The AC helped cover the noise, but if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs.
