Big A Motel & Suites Near Disneyland Orange County

Good

When we checked in we were trying to get in the office because that was you usually do go in the office but this one you can’t get in just ring the bell. The man came to the window asked for ID I asked for 1st floor he said we don’t have any and it was about 3:30 and then he asked me for $5.00 cash I asked what is that for ? He said for room key. When I checked out I forgot my phone charger in the room the lady told me to call back in 5 mins. When I called back she said nothing was returned for lost and found. I knew I left it there.

Exceptional

The Lobby is closed all the time, you have to do all the check in transactions through a window where you are standing outside. You also get charged $5 (refundable) for ONE electronic key for your room. Friendly staff. Room: The pictures on the website are much better than the actual product. The room smells musty and old. Based on how dirty my socks were after walking without shoes for about 10 minutes I can tell the floors are not cleaned properly, in fact there where so many stains in the floor that could easily can be taking care by just mopping. Chair and ottoman had stains visible to the naked eye. Luggage rack was broken. Mattress and pillows were comfortable but the light comforter was raggedy. The metal frame moved constantly and it needed adjustment since every time we moved in the bed made a lot of noise. There was a fridge and microwave but no coffee maker as advertised. We could have gone to a better hotel for the same price but the coffee maker was the winning point which it didn’t exist. Bathroom. There was shampoo and soap but the towels where stained and the shower head hight was about 5.5”, I’m only 5.4” and couldn’t wash my hair without hitting the head, my husband being 6 feet tall had a much harder time. No shower liner only a curtain. The floors were filthy. Parking. Lots of space available. Area: Homeless people hanging around which explains the lobby closure. Will not recommend staying here.

Bad

Really peaceful and quiet throughout the night and day..stayed over the weekend for 3 nights and really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere..would most definitely stay again!

Disappointing

The sink was dirty and had hair left in it. It was disgusting. They moved me to another room, but I won’t be giving this hotel a second chance.

Owners and staff are kind. We'll maintained properly

Unclean, bad odor from the dirty refrigerator. A spider bite on my eyebrow causing it to swollen. Had to go to the hospital for care.

Old and smells needs an update

Clean Not enough parking

It was smelly, found 2 bugs in our bed as soon as we got there that made me feel uneasy the rest of the night. It's outdated.

Staff was the best.

Super recommended stay. The room was very clean and very nice. This motel answered their phone always. Super helpful and very kind staff! 😊

It looked clean and seemed like it could have been comfortable. The owner is an angry man and He jumped my guest and berated him, took his I.D. And treated him like trash. He told me no more than 2 to a room ( I get it if we were trouble but it’s none of his business what I do in my room as long as I’m not wrecking the place.) I came to Orange to meet a close friend that lives there. He was not going to allow me to have him in my room. Why do these middle eastern guys treat their guest horribly with the yelling and crazy accusations? They think they can come and go in your room with no apology. This is America. U don’t get my money and charge ridiculous cash only fees and tell me what I’m going to do in my room and then try to throw me out without a refund after I was there for 20 minutes. There is only one way to change this horrible way of doing business. Do not give them your money. Also, report them every time they do this. There is no intention to do good business and provide customer service. There is only them treating people like garbage and trying to make sure they never face any loss or difficulties. Thats not the nature of business. If you do not understand that customers pay your bills and have some true respect for that then it will show. It will never feel like hospitality. Demanding perfection is not your place. If you don’t understand hospitality you will surely lose everything in the hospitality business.
