Extended Stay America Suites Orange County Katella Ave

The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful It was very dirty. Hallways, elevator were scattered with trash. The room wasn’t much better, though my second room was better than my first. The first room had running water from the shower that would shut off. And the tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. My second room was a bit cleaner though still gave me the heebie jeebies.

They gave me a room with a clogged toilet; they really need to be more aware of what they're offering :(

The staff is polite and very friendly. This place is located in a nice area. Easy walk from the Honda Center. Parking included. Breakfast provided was coffee, hot water, packaged oats, and small muffins. Room we stayed in smelled like a chemical that smelled like maple syrup and the room seemed to have a cockroach problem recently. Room was cleaned well enough considering. Our stay was good.

Hotel smells, water was running in the bathroom constantly, first room they put us in the bathroom had no light in it.

I know I wasn’t going to the Ritz for what I paid, but the rooms were dark and very old smelling/feeling. Location was the best part of this place. But trash cans were overflowing outside by all exits, hallways were dirty at times and the beds had what felt like gauze comforters. Again, I knew I wasn’t getting the best for what I paid but I’ve stayed at other extended stay-type properties and got a lot more for the same price.

Staff are very rude They gave me a room facing a trash dumpster. I requested a room change, but they didn’t change it.” 200 percent NO

Electrical hazards present which is beyond wrong in rooms with shooty failed hot plates and microwave s that don’t function correctly. From what I’ve heard majority of Extend Stays in Orange County, CA have fallen to disrepair on some level and the customer still pays full price!!

I complained to booking.com customer service and sent message to property which extended stay staff have yet to acknowledge my issue or even so much as make anything right but my room had a bed bug infestation I have pictures and videos of kive bed bugs and how they bit me which I broke out in hives after being bit. I paid $151 per night for two nights ans to have this issue ans to top it off we called second day in the morning for fresh towels for the guy to say and I quote “oh yeah we don’t have extra clean towels for you” um excuse me for that price a night and u dont have simple clean towels for your guests? And let alone bed bugs leaving me wanting to take multiple showers I didn’t get to sleep well I slept on the little chair cus I was purely disgusted and mortified I’m soooooo beyond upset and I want full reimbursement at this point but it doesn’t appear extended stay staff is trained on taking accountability or show compassion or empathy. Which at a basic human level they should have inheritely. I’m sure no one who works there would enjoy cuddling bed bugs all night while being but and having allergic reactions based off said bite. I’ve seen low ball motels that run a better business than this Everything

The staff was nice It was horribly stinky, and old and seemed dirty everywhere

Staff was helpful. Hallways had food crumbs all over.

The hallway had a weird smell. The shower faucet kept dripping. The blankets felt wet.

This hotel is located in a prime location. It’s in the same parking lot as a movie theater, Starbucks, Chili’s and Tilted Kilt Tavern. Across the way is the Honda Center and Angels Stadium. Plenty of food, gas and attractions in the area. The hotel itself though, needs A LOT of improvements. The hotel is rundown on the inside. The lobby, throughout the halls and rooms had paint chips everywhere, and the floor was dirty. They needed to vacuum throughout. Our room had a fantastic view but the room needed improvements. So many paint chips on the walls and doors. The furniture had damage. The bathtub faucet ran non stop both nights. We let the front desk know but no one came to fix it. We had already “used” the room, so we didn’t switch. We also asked for late check out which was approved for a $25 fee. Day of check out, housekeeping knocked on our door twice. They had no communication with the front desk to let them know. Staff was nice but not the most professional.

Not a very clean or well maintained place. The place is run down. I would only stay here only on emergency.

They just need to put out some hand lotion.

Closer to Honda Centers Dirty and maybe mosquitos or bugs

Breakfast is minimal to say the least.
