Unfortunately there was a large cockroach in our room. I am very allergic to them. The staff at first did not want to help. But then was texting her manager and gave us 35 % off our stay. They didn’t even want to do that. But they were not cheap rooms for our family! Having a roach is not something you expect to see in a place that looks so nice on the outside.

Great location. Good breakfast. One elevator opens to laundry and could smell strong chemicals sometimes.

Clean. The area was fine. Breakfast was decent. Toilet didn't work though.

We liked everything about the guest suite: spacious, closet and storage space, kitchen facilities. Clean, white towels and aromatic toiletries. Good climate control and a ceiling fan. Staff were hospitable and helpful.

Everything was great but it is right next to I 95 so it’s alittle noisy but if you bring white noise or turn on fan on ac you can’t hear anything.

We had a few issues. The first room we entered smelled as if a dead body was in it. The “accommodated room sink was stopped up but fixed quickly. The computer in the lobby was unavailable. And our room microwave did not work! I have yet to be accommodated for my troubles.

This was another wonderful experience, and it’s always reassuring to return to a hotel where you know you’ll be comfortable. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. I especially appreciate the suite setup, the comfortable accommodations, the convenient location, and the complimentary breakfast. The property has everything needed for a relaxing and convenient stay. It’s clear why I continue to choose Homewood Suites when I’m in the Orange/New Haven area. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
