Hampton Inn & Suites New Haven - South - West Haven

Best fitness center I've seen at hotel of this type. Breakfast great as always. Room super clean and comfortable. The location is the best if visiting the awesome PEZ museum (about 5 minutes away) or Yale University campus.

I enjoyed the breakfast each morning to start the day . The location has all the main stores in the area.

and see the status of the phone repair. The woman at the front desk was the same woman my wife spoke to the day previous morning about the phone. It was only then she filled out the request for the phone request. The carried the towel back to the room. Shortly thereafter a staff member came to the room and fixed the toilet. He also looked at the phone and said he could not fix the phone. When we checked out the lady at the front desk, who also was the same lady we dealt with before neglected to ask us if we had a good stay neglected to ask us if the room was OK . She neglected to do anything but take the final payment and say thank you.

Room was clean. Receptionist didn't seem happy to see us but was helpful. No wash clothes or glasses in bathroom. Bulb blown out in one lamp. Couldn't adjust clock. Direct TV in room is AWFUL! Hate the duvet on the bed (too hot). Breakfast was minimal. We expected more considering the price and the Hilton name. We are both very experienced travelers.......

Was there on our honeymoon and got a free upgraded room. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly.

Nice room! Breakfast was insufficient compared to other Hampton inns. No fruit toppings for waffles that we have always experienced at a Hampton inn. Poor tea selection one day. No cut fruit as we’ve experienced at other Hamptons. Last , butter was kept in the refrigerator so too hard to spread. Eggs and meat were excellent.

Nothing I thought breakfast ws a good thing until I saw the woman in the back eats out of the serving trays and keep coming out to see what is left she was making plates we pay for the rooms and breakfast is included yet if she takes plates and nothing left they say oh sorry ! Gross no hair net ! Nasty the maintenance worker is in every one business waks around like he owns the place looking at credit cards and behind the desk no business there ! Safe your money go to a rel Hilton!

Manger is awful he tried to double charge you and he kicked a couple out for no reason they called the police and everything police agreeded with them .he had the wrong people one lady yelled at him embarrassed him and I think he thought that was the couple he shakes and drinks and refused to admit he was wrong the janitor walks in everyone business he behind the desk looking t credit cards .they charge you for parking even if you dont have a car. The breakfast i thought until I saw the employees eat out the serving tray .and if it's 10.05 they will refuse you yet they sit there and eat. Ridiculous!! The manager is rude and drinks i watched one women allow her people to check out late yet yell.at a couple who checked out a few mins late ! Seems like they break rules for.whoever they want .there is one woman who really nice and younger male and younger Asian female who are nice . The rest are awful!

Staff was exceptionally courteous and accommodating. Room and facilities were exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was a great variety and delicious. Especially enjoyed the 24/7 coffee. Would have liked more lunch/dinner food availability in the snack area. I am a fan of Diet Pepsi, definitely not Cola.

Stayed for one night and had a really comfortable room. As Brits we loved the plentiful coffee in the lobby. Great for overnight stay

Tatianna the front desk receptionist was so pleasant and accommodating coming in from out of town she went above and beyond to assist us an anyway possible being in customer service is challenging and she does it with ease because of her kind spirit will definitely be back and I am also now a rewards member 😁
