Hampton Inn & Suites Orem

The pictures of the unit online was deceiving, I wanted a room with a full kitchen, including oven, the room booked showed a kitchen with oven, No oven was in the room. Only stove top.. Very Disappointed.. The bathroom assist handle pulled out of the wall, didn't get fixed before we checked out.. The staff was friendly..

Hotel system was down the day that I went to check in for five hours. After waiting one hour in the evening to speak to one of the three people at the desk, I decided to go somewhere else and stay. At that point they were going to go around at 10 PM and knock on people’s doors to see if there was anyone in the room so they could accommodate people. Managment was not prepared on how to handle this type of situation appropriately. I’m glad I was not one of the people waiting for five hours.

Superb

Our stay was great. Helpful and inviting staff. Room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Nice seating area and patio. My only sorta gripe is the bed was hard. I woke up pretty sore. If it weren’t for that, it would have been perfect.

Convenient location is the plus of the hotel. Last that it’s old the rooms are not the clean and have a smell to them. Definitely not a location that I would come back to unless I have no other choices.

This hotel is great for all travelers. The breakfast options were great.

Shirly at the front desk was wonderful. She assisted me switching rooms when the interstate was too loud. She even delivered me a key up to my room so I wouldnt have to haul all my belongings back downstairs. She was a gem!

The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable

What I didn’t like were your pillows and the fact that the bed had been sprayed with Fabreeze. I was able to get different pillows that were hypoallergenic, but the Fabreeze stuffed up my sinuses and made my eyes itch and swell up and I got very little sleep. I had no idea this was a Hampton Inn thing. Unfortunately, I will not book a Hampton Inn stay again with this policy in place. This is not a good practice.

Exceptional

The rooms are updated, clean and well stocked. The pool and hot tub were great and the fitness room has an excellent variety of equipment. All are well maintained with friendly and professional staff.

The only seat was one desk chair on a double queen room The coffeemaker had to be used on the desk alongside the ice bucket so no room to use the desk. There was a hanger bar with a luggage shelf in the room itself. Breakfast only had omelets with green peppers and the waffle batter had berries in it. I want plain eggs and plain waffles

It needs updating and hard to get to the property.
