Holiday Inn Orlando International Airport by IHG

We waited for the hotel shuttle at the MCO airport for 40 minutes, called front desk to ask about the shuttle and was told to contact the driver, who never picked up or shows up. So we had to take a taxi instead. The floors in the room were sticky. Beds were clean enough. We likely won’t stay again.

Lobby was not air-conditioned, not sure if there was an issue or if it’s always like this. Breakfast dining area was in the lobby, so it was humid and warm, not my favorite. Ice machine on my floor was broken so I had to go to the café and ask for a bag of ice which they provide provided kindly

We initially chose this hotel because it offered a free airport shuttle, which was a major factor in our decision. We were told that the shuttle runs every half hour and that we should arrive 5–10 minutes early because it was first come, first served. We followed those instructions and arrived about 10 minutes early, only to find approximately 10 people already waiting at 4:30 in the morning. Unfortunately, the shuttle did not have enough room for us, and we were left having to arrange an Uber instead. If the shuttle is advertised as a free service, there should be a better system in place to ensure that guests who arrive on time are actually able to use it. Overall, our stay was disappointing, and based on our experience, we would not choose to stay here again.

Shuttle in the morning took forty minutes and people had to wait for a second shuttle which made for nervous flyers even though we thought we were running early. Room could not get cool enough and musty when we entered. On the bright side the room was immaculate and the staff were hospitable.

The room was well kept and comfortable (2 pillows/person and Quality toiletries). The gym and pool were also well maintained. I like that the pool is heated, but a heated pool in the summer when the humidity is high, is not refreshing. I had never seen so many people looking sad and drained while in the water... That was the biggest downside aside form the airport shuttle. I called ahead to make sure we would plan to catch the shuttle (the reason I chose this hotel). They said it carried 16 passengers, but a van showed up instead, only took 9 of the 15 people waiting. We had to call an Uber last minute. However, I got a great deal and I was very impressed with this Holiday Inn!

Checked in Friday night, around 8:00-8:30Pm. The (2) employees that were at the front were VERY helpful, Professional and patient...even with it being busy. Javier was the young gentleman and I forgot the young lady, but I was very Impressed.

Me encantó que tienen un shuttle gratuito al aeropuerto muy puntual. El personal es muy amable. Todos hablaban inglés y español. El mattres es muy cómodo. La piscina es muy linda. El hotel es limpio y está muy cuidado.
