So much nicer that a usual hotel. James at the front desk was great. Rarely have i slept in a more comfortable bed. It took me a minute to figure out the shower, but once I did it too was fine. I look forward to staying here again

Great water pressure in showers and loved the jacuzzi tub

I loved the idea of staying here. However, all of the photos show a beautiful Victorian home. What they don’t show you, is the carriage house, which felt unsafe, lacking cleanliness, and overall dingy. The fact that we had to stay in a house next door to the property. It felt so odd. The room felt unsafe. Their was a half a roll of toilet paper, towels that had been used for well over 20 years, a comforter that was not clean, mismatched furniture that was not original or Victorian, and no ventilation or the ability to open windows. We felt scammed. This was not the rooms shown on the photos. We left after 30 minutes and found a nicer, safer, and more appropriate accommodation. The owner approached us and we told him we were leaving. His response wasn’t to refund us, help us, or explain to us why we were in that treacherous room, but instead told us to go stay at the Holiday Inn up the road. He got $100 and we got a slap in the face as customers.

CONS: the separate shower was not usable. It had a handheld part that pointed straight out into the room, and the stationary head was completely missing/broken off. The shower in with the jet tub is not able to be moved, and there is no shower curtain.

We were in Paducah one night to visit National Quilt Museum the next day. This place fit our needs perfectly. Cool and clean bedroom with bathroom in historical district had easy access and free parking across the street with very little traffic at night. We will stay there again!

This is a wonderful B & B. I didn’t purchase the breakfast, but there is a second small kitchen with freezer and refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, china dishes, etc. and we were invited to help ourselves to it. My 2 favorite features were the front porch with rocking chairs and the jetted tub in my own bathroom, both were much appreciated after a full day of driving. There’s off-street parking across the street, there’s little traffic, the neighborhood was quiet, and this place is 2 doors down from the police station.

Great location for off hwy yet close to downtown. Quiet. Comfy beds, lovely deck. Access to kitchen. Easy parking. The host, James was very helpful. Liked that we could make our own coffee. Falls short. Linens need updating. Landscaping needs care. Kitchen needs cleaning and towels, napkins provided. Microwave didn't work, ... easy things to fix. The host could use some help.

Very clean. Quiet. The only thing was the box spring on the bed. It creaked every time I moved

Close to downtown. Historically themed. Front sitting porch. Not a cookie cutter hotel; more geared to B&B stay. A little bit rusty around the edges but also charming.

It was a pleasant stay.

Lots of charm. Parking

A delightful place to stay when you wake up you feel like you’re at home

Our room wasn't in the house that is pictured in the photos. We were placed in the house next door. Anytime we returned to the property in the evening, we were greeted by a cloud of marijuana from a guy on the front porch. Nothing against him or his habits. We just didn't care for the overwhelming smell.

Liked being able to be so close to the town! Clean room, friendly staff, fridge available and we helped ourselves to coffee prior to leaving. Felt like home!

First time at a bed in breakfast. It was very nice. Can't think of anything we didn't like.

Clean room. Staff was friendly. It felt like coming home. Instead of a big hotel.
