Residence Inn By Marriott Palm Desert

The staff has always been pleasant and accommodating, the rooms are clean and well kept, the grounds are well maintained and amenities are very nice. A breakfast buffet is definitely a plus.

Heather and Aurora are awesome. Kind considerate and attentive. The hotel room had some bugs flying around but otherwise relatively clean. The gym could use an equipment upgrade or some fixes on bike pedals and other equipment

Clean room with full size fridge and freezer. Great for traveling with an ice chest. Also felt the parking lot was safe with all out luggage inside.

Guests used the bbq area to cook in the afternoon and the dirty bbq utensils were left out uncleaned well into the next morning. The bbq area was also left as a mess. The room was also worn. The chairs in the dining area were peeling and we were missing one chair. The couch had an old wet stain (spilled ice cream?!?) that was not cleaned up and there were no linens available for the sofa couch. We’d have to call the front desk to deliver them. Pot and pan had the black non-stick coating well scratched. Otherwise, the lobby breakfast area seemed to be well maintained and kept clean during breakfast hours. Food was also on par with other Residence Inn locations we’ve been - freshness, restock, quality, and quantity- all pretty consistent . I’d much prefer to try another hotel in the area before coming back to this one.

My only complaint was that the first room we were assigned was not ready, so we had to be moved to a different room. Housekeeping could definitely do a better job even for our transferred room. That said, I really liked the layout of our suite. It featured a balcony, two separate rooms, and two independent bathrooms, which made it spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our stay.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the lady provided us with 2 of ice bags we didn’t have to go buy any.

The rooms were great and staff very friendly. The pools needed some attention and the grounds could have been maintained better. The rooms were clean and cool and updated which was nice! Breakfast was mediocre.

The room was nice Pool area is dirty, not just from wind but the deck is dirty like its not ever cleaned, the hotel is dated and in need of renovation.

There was a shortage of furniture in our 2 bedroom suite. Existing furniture was worn and dirty. Floors were worn and dirty. Also, I paid for a golf view and when I checked in they said all the rooms have a golf view. Not very professional.

It’s a convenient location, and the staff and front desk were helpful and nice.

Was very dissappointed by the old very worn out furniture and carpets. Rooms desperately need renovation. Foun a dozen dead flies in bathtub and room. On the upside, front desk nite person, Heather, quickly remedied the situation. Very professional and helpful.

The hotel was great! Nice big rooms, clean amenities, used the gym and the pool. Very quiet property!
