Dive Palm Springs Hotel - 21 & Over

We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Dive Palm Springs. Robert was especially friendly and helpful getting us checked in quickly and acclimated to the space. The picket fence enclosed property and clever landscaping creates a private little, funky garden and pool oasis. The rooms were clean, well-stocked with snacks and drinks for purchase and L’Occitane products in the bath. The decor was retro-chic in our king-size mini suite room. There is a small kitchen on property and an included breakfast which we enjoyed poolside. Our only regret is that we stayed just one night. Highly recommend!!

Room was spotless with fresh linens and a clean bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast had a good selection and was consistently fresh. Comfortable stay overall—would recommend.

Comfortable room with a lovely size bathroom. Great AC in the very hot weather. Pleasant breakfast but could have more variety. Nice outdoor space and pool. Nothing in particular.

This property is an absolute oasis. From the aesthetics to the service, I would stay here every time hands down. Loved everything!

That said, the stay also highlighted some operational challenges. We arrived after 6 p.m. due to traffic and found that there was no staff on site at that hour, which made check-in and issue resolution less convenient. During our stay, we unfortunately found a dead roach in our room. To the hotel’s credit, the team was responsive by text and kindly upgraded us to another room, which we appreciated. However, we later noticed another roach near the pool area. Overall, the property has a lot of appeal in terms of aesthetics, setting, and amenities, but the limited on-site staffing and cleanliness concerns affected the experience.

The grounds were absolutely stunning. They really stay true to the retro era of old Hollywood. It is definitely a great photo op space. The decorations in the room were absolutely stunning with a sizeable shower for the size of the room. Wish there were a TV and options for a hot breakfast. Rooms are a little small, but it's very fitting for a boutique hotel. Nothing I didn't like, but there is no one after 6 pm, so you check in digitally and are texted access instructions. It was very easy. If there were any issues, you would have to text them. I did not need any assistance.

The facility per se is very nice: beautifully decorated, a very nice pool with comfy sunbeds and modern rooms. The complimentary breakfast was also very nice! The room could have been cleaner…

Everyone was friendly, polite and respectful. But at the end there was a new young girl with attitude, she would be rude to our face with a smile. But otherwise the stay was so relaxing and pleasant. Loved every one and had a great time with them!!

There were a few things that could be improved. The property was sometimes a bit dirty in the mornings from the previous day’s activity, and the continental breakfast was disappointing. It consisted mostly of inexpensive grocery store items, and I would not recommend eating breakfast there. Overall, though, I had a pleasant stay and would consider returning because of the great location, cute property, and excellent customer service.
