The Dunes Hotel

Stayed at this hotel for the second time and I absolutely love it. Location is great and staff is very friendly. Rooms are nice and clean

Good location and easily walkable

We literally have stayed here 4 times now. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need and the location and pool can’t be beat! We will be back for a 5th time!

Room was clean and updated, easy parking. . I was very disappointed when we checked in as the property was listed as a Hotel but was more like a Motel design with the door open to the open air balcony walkway people walking by the window, also very noisy air conditioner would shut down

Most of the rooms the AC don’t work, there was this guy at the front desk really rude that we went and told him the AC wasn’t working and he didn’t want to change us to a different room and call us liars. Do better.

Some rooms are dark and cavelike. We asked for something better and it took a couple tries to get a good room with functioning AC. Once that was straightened out everything was fine. Didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. There’s a great Vietnamese ( I think) restaurant in the same parking lot. Probably would stay elsewhere next time I’m in town.

This place is a joke. The AC didn’t work and when I approach the front desk to fix it, they said there’s nothing they can do. That’s what it is. I slept in heat the entire night. There is no reason to be this discomfortable in a hotel.

One of my fav places to stay for last min booked everything it's walkin distance. Love the pool it's a fun vibe ....relaxing you get to see the mountains from the pool

I booked a standard quadruple room for one night on the 24th and as soon as we got checked in the air conditioning was not working we gave it a couple hours to maybe improve. After that around 7ish the temperature in the room was 82 degrees with it being 110 outside. We requested a new room and it felt a little better, but the room was a downgrade compared to the rate I initially paid for. I wasn’t reimbursed for the inconvenience.

Great location. Good price in July 2026. Big pool. Shower leaked onto the floor but seems like it was recently renovated. Doesn’t have breakfast but has coffee and granola bars in the lobby. Would stay here again.

Staff is always great. Pool is always clean and cute. Great area to be able to explore downtown palm springs
