The Dunes was great. The rooms are clean and they smell really nice. The decor is simple and has a retro style. The outdoor pool was nice and in the afternoon the pool has nice shade.

I’m only taking away a few stars because there’s sooo many ants. I wish I was privy to that ahead of time since I have two little kids and carry snacks with me at all times. Needless to say a swam of ants got into our lunch bag with dry snacks. It was a big setback to our pool plans to have to remove our ant filled bag out to the hallways and shake off ants and then rinse that bag and throw away all our kid’s snacks. Also saw many ants by the pool. However, this is still a lovely and clean place with a nice pool. Rooms were very clean and fresh with the air conditioning. Just wish we knew how bad the ants could get.

Replace shower head or shower curtains so water doesnt splash outside making a mess

Other than that, it was perfect. They even had bar set up by the pool which was awesome for all the adults lol. They didn't have hard liquor which sucked, but they did have beer and seltzer at a really reasonable price. Overall it was such a great time!

What a cool hotel! Love how they have kept the retro feel but it’s nice and clean and updated. Pool and outdoor spaces were fantastic, gym was great and beds were cozy. Would definitely recommend!

As an Architect I found the remodel Dunes Hotel delightful. Much of the original Architectural features remain such as the concrete first floor screen walls. Rooms are clean and ample size. The pool and spa are exceptional. If they can keep the price point down there should be no reason not to post that no vacancy sign every weekend.
