Nice property, clean. Noisy from the upstairs and dinners at the pool.

The location and staff were very good I stayed in the ground floor, the footsteps on the above floor can be heard

Quiet, room on lagoon. Restaurant was very nice, great food. Parking close to room. Lovely pool, heated. Nothing not to like.

I was surprised at how great this hotel is. Beautifully landscaped grounds with canals/bridges/ducks/koi fish, nice heated swimming pool, delicious Cobb salad, very comfortable beds, and the Deluxe Queen room was huge. It would be nice if they had a hot tub along with the pool. And the hotel is more of a drive from Stanford’s campus than I’d anticipated, but not a problem. Just trying to find something I didn’t like about the property.

Lovely room close to the pool. Very comfortable and always clean. I love staying here as I did as a child. The Poolside Cafe has really good food and a happy hour menu on weekdays. Breakfast is a real treat when you top it off with a mimosa made with fresh squeezed OJ. The staff is polite and friendly. They also make a really good Bloody Mary I wish the prices were more reasonable on weekdays I'd make it my home away from home. It is mostly business travel in Palo Alto so the weekend rates are more reasonable. I have been in and out of town while my husband has been it the local hospital

Amazing stay!

The property has changed since the previous owner, Julie, passed away. It’s still great, however, each time we have visited since, the property has changed in less enjoyable ways. The staff is still top notch. The restaurant’s food is less fresh and delicious. The grounds are less impressive and maintained.

Dinah's Garden Hotel has beautiful, tranquil grounds that feel far from the bustle of Palo Alto. Check-in could be smoother, and restaurant service was slower than it should be, though the staff were friendly. Worth a stay for the setting alone.

Very good location if you have work/travel around South Bay. Large and open property and there's plenty of area to walk around. There is a small park and duck pond in the property. The food in the restaurant is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym is small with very little space and equipments for weight training. They should offer a room package that includes breakfast.

This place could use an update. It has some charm, but things felt very dated.

Loved it and the staff was all very friendly

While the landscaping is inviting the rooms are dated and tired. Our room smelled stale.
