Simple but clean and safe

Property very clean and updated paint and furniture and bedding. Breakfast quite minimal.

Location was good. Management was rude and unprofessional and housekeeping staff did a terrible job. Bathroom was not properly cleaned and when I initially asked for housekeeping I was told by the staff that there would be none unless we were checking out. Then the next night one of the staff yelled at my husband that they needed to clean the room. We let them in right away. Then the older older man tells us that we need to check out the next day because of the smell (we ended up taking our own garbage out to avoid this very thing). Management lied to me saying that they had spoken to our third party booking site and when I contacted them they had no record of it so I waited on hold while they called the hotel themselves to straighten it out. There was constant yelling in Spanish and some of the cleaners they used smelled horrible (made me gag). The cleaning staff just walked away leaving our room door wide open, did not bother to say they were finished or anything. It was awful.

Location was good for our needs Run down

Basic, but clean and excellent for the price. Helpful and friendly staff. Great location amid more expensive hotels.

My companion, my brother, is mobility compromised, and unable to climb stairs. He had traveled for medical care at Stanford. Instead of being able to provide the two-bedded room we had reserved, the manager offered a room on the first floor with a single queen. We looked at the room - admittedly clean but starkly furnished - but more importantly neither what we reserved and needed. Unacceptable! The manger refused to agree to cancel my reservation. Instead he claimed that only Expedia could do that, and that he would oppose a Refund because “a two-bed room on the 2nd Floor was potentially available.” Available, maybe, but not accessible for us! We were greatly incovienced and stressed by this inconvenience, and minimally refund of deposit should have been provided!

The aircon was very loud and leaked when turned on. The rooms were big and cleaned oren and service was good. Location is great

My only complaint is that the entry cards quite often don't work, but there is always someone available to help.

Price was right for a quick unexpected trip to the bay area. It fit my budget as a senior citizen. Noise of air conditioner.

Filthy, dirty toilet seats, must be 20 years old. Dirty floors, broken tiles and mold on toilet. The whole scene was a mess, and the room smelled of mold/ mildew. Dirty place.

Clean room

Great

It was clean and the price was decent. The location was ok, close to a few big shops. But overall there is not much to do in the area. For me it felt like a ghost town. The day was pretty warm and the room was boiling. The aircon was not able to deal with the heat and was simply blowing hot air. It was so bad that I almost left it. But later the room cooled down a bit so it was management to sleep.
