The Zen Hotel Palo Alto

This was my second time and I didn't realize there were rooms upstairs. I booked way in advance thinking I could park near our room. I and my friend , both in our late 70's had to climb several stairs and she could not carry her suitcases. The staff helped but this was very difficult. Be specific to request.

We had a very nice stay at The Zen. Location was convenient to shopping and eateries, and Stanford. Since it’s close to a busy road, we did hear vehicles noise in the early morning, but not too bad. Overall, a very nice stay and would return!

Everything went according to plan. The price was reasonable for Palo Alto. It is conveniently located just across the way from a Walgreens. They have a nice big eating area for the delicious breakfast that is provided, including make-yourself waffles.

Great location. Well priced. Pleasant enough. Photos did not match most rooms. No pool. However, pleasant and well priced.

This is my favorite stay in Palo Alto. I work at Stanford and sometimes I stay overnight because I need to be back at work early and if the price is right I’ll always stay here. The location is great, the rooms are nice and spotless and the staff is always great.

Nice motel with a great location across from Walgreens and around the corner from Fuki Sushi. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and decent refrigerator and microwave. Typical breakfast. Generally a pleasant stay ... except for VERY slow internet and an internet system that required me to reboot my computer each day to get the popup to enter the password. It's hard to recommend this place until they improve the internet.

my wife's hand got sucked into the jacuzzi tubs inlet, be careful. excellent breakfast choices.

TV Not working well, distorted picture Only one real cup for coffee in room No decaf coffee in room or on premises No herbal tea in room or on premises Hair dryer had sticky handle. Too old. Yucky

Clean spacious room - a little sitting area off back of room very inviting and comfortable. Surprisingly , no traffic noise being close to a main road. There is free parking and a Walgreens across the street for last minute items. Free breakfast before you leave for the day. Very happy with our one night stay !

Clean , convenient , easy access. Nice single level , Would stay again when I'm in the area.
