La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham PCB Pier Park area

Excellent!

Overall great place to stay, 5-8 min drive from the beach. Comfortable bed and clean bedding. The floors could be cleaned better in room. Would recommend to stay.

The hotel was much dirtier and more run-down than I expected. The breakfast wasn't very good, and the shower was by far the smallest I've ever seen in a hotel. The staff was okay, but overall I don't think I would stay here again.

That was not the case this time. The staff was extremely rude and the hotel no longer well maintained. The man blowing leaves shook his head at us as we were leaving through the designated exit. Our room key cards quit working several times. They eventually determined it was the lock and not the cards. When I had to return to report it a third time, the girl at the desk shrugged her shoulders at me. The room was okay, but the stopper for the bathtub didn’t work. Next time we’re in PCB we will definitely book at a different hotel! What a shame this hotel has gone downhill so quickly!

Have very noisy neighbors. Everything else was okay.

The bathroom was very dirty. Was locked out of the room. They said I only had one night. Which I had 2. They also required a $100 additional fee to check in. Said it could take 2 weeks to get my $100 back. That hidden fee was not disclosed up front

TIP: Always check the ROOM prior to unloading your vehicle.

Excellent Stay this place is awesome

The staff was nice, the room was nice. However, the shower kept backing up for the two days we stayed. That made it a little bit uninviting in the bathroom. Otherwise we had a good day.

Parking, had to park on the street with my truck and trailer and was told they were going to be at full compatibility and never was the Parking lot was mostly empty

The staff were friendly but do not count on breakfast. We came down both days of our stay to have breakfast and there was ZERO places to sit, the bins were not being refilled at the rate that could support the amount of people in the hotel. People were even sitting out in the lobby floor eating. We went elsewhere just because of the wait to even get a chance to eat and a table to sit. I would highly recommend extra staff and a revamp of this area, maybe even matching table and chairs.

Nice staff, bathroom was pretty gross

This hotel is filthy! From the check-in until our check-out 3 nights earlier we couldn't sleep and I got sick of my stomach with the mixed food and bleach smell in the room we were given! I got so sick that the last 2 days nothing I would eat would stay in my stomach! The area where this hotel is is also awful, across from storage place, very rundown place, depressing!! Who picked those carpets?? Gosh, what an disaster!! From the 1st hour there we tried to get a different room or a better cleaning in our room, but it wasn't helpful because we made our reservation through Expedia, we were treated like second class citizens! Worse stay ever!! How about the "hot breakfast" that is not even cooked in there because they don't have a kitchen?! Big regret ever! Oh boy! Not to mention to two roaches we saw hanging around! I suggested to the front desk they use the money from our other 3 nights to get rid of the bugs!!

Room was awful with humidity. Bed linens stayed damp and had to go buy some extra blankets to sleep at night. Floors stayed damp and nothing you could do on thermostat control to help it. Hotel staff were not friendly and please don’t ask them a question or need something. They don’t seem to understand they work in an establishment that has customers needs something. Wouldn’t stay here again if room was free.

The staff was accommodating by allowing us to cancel our remaining nights. We only stayed 1 night instead of the entire week as planned. Everything. It’s not what it appears online.

No problem with early check in, staff very friendly,rooms very clean, breakfast every morning...very good...no problem with parking space..everything was great...
