Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included. The building is on the older side. Room had a bit of a musty smell. I was only here for one night so it didn't bother me much. Bed and restroom were clean enough for me. Easy access to the freeway. The funniest takeaway is that you can brag to your friends you visited "Peru...Peru, Illinois" ha-ha.

The room smelled strange. No hot water came out the shower. The property is in need of repairs. Broken electrical outlet cover. Constant high pitched ringing in the hallway.

4 night stay and towels nor garbage was changed once. AC only worked on high fan, which was noisy and made it hard to sleep. TV remote was not programmed on arrival, had to have desk come make it work.

The bed was really comfortable, the sofa not as comfortable but acceptable. I don't think the hide-a-bed in the sofa would have been comfortable at all -- too thin. The bathroom was clean and bright, but on our second night there was no body wash in the body wash dispenser. The TV did not have a directory. The refrigerator worked fine as a refrigerator, but the freezer compartment didn't work well at all. Breakfast was the bare minimum: a waffle-maker, syrup, bread for toast, butter and jam, cereal and milk. No protein at all, not even granola bars. On our first night the juice dispenser had no juice. On our second, there was some cranberry cocktail. Summary: the property is neat as a pin -- clean and comfortable. Incidental amenities are just so-so. We stayed twice on the strength of the first night, and would consider them again.

The staff does not greet you or smiles. The mattresses felt like they have not been changed in 20 years, feeling like I was laying on springs. Brought to their attention and all they said was we will tell the manager, nothing was done. The complimentary breakfast is a joke. They only had waffles and cereal. The juice machine was never plugged in. Had to plug in the phone for it to work. Tub was stained did not look clean at all. The towels in the bathroom where not white. Was afraid to get ice from the ice machine, it looked like it was not sanitized. I would stay clear from this place.

It was cheap. That’s about it The walls were dirty, towels super stained (thankfully I brought my own), and overall very run down. They had a can of raid just sitting on the counter

I did not even get to stay. I booked the room earlier in the week and even stopped at the location to ensure it was booked. The morning of check in the location called and stated that booking.com cancelled my reservation. And then claimed the card was declined. Both claims were false. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. I believe they over booked themselves and then lied and blamed other parties.

Staff cancelled my reservation before I arrived. I was not able to get my money back.

Very clean. Comfortable. Friendly. Close to many sites. Breakfast was disappointing. Waffles, cereal, white bread for toast and apples. Juice and coffee.

Wet carpet and broken shower head

We got in late in the evening and it had been 100 outside - the AC had not been turned on in the room and it took several hours before it cooled down to a comfortable temp. Breakfast was just waffles and a few other carbs. Wasn't a horrible experience, but not as good as the Super 8 stays I've had at different locations.
