Hampton Inn Petaluma, CA

Loved the tower room with the brick walls and very comfy chaise longue. Nice and quiet. Bed was a little hard for my taste. Watched the 4th of July fireworks from the back stairs. Enjoyed the fire pit. Breakfast was okay. Coffee nice and strong. Good location. Could walk everywhere. Easy free parking.

Beautiful historic building, lovely renovation. Convenient location, short drive to shops and dining. Walkable options. Great stop, would definitely stay again.

This is a very nice property, with easy access to downtown by foot or car. It is also near light rail to Santa Rosa.

We requested a quiet room as we had travelled from New Zealand. We got exactly what we had asked for, and I was very, very happy. We slept extremely well, in a large, comfortable bed. All of the staff were fantastic. We had dealings with housekeeping, the maintenance man, the lady who runs the kitchen, and of course the front-line reception. All were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel has retained the charm of its 120-year-old history. It's lovely. A short walk to the town of Petaluma and the historic housing area was a bonus for us. The area is definitely worth a visit. Great shopping, restaurants, and people. We will return when next flying into SFO.. Why stay in the city? This location is safe, clean and charming! We also drove out to Dillon's Beach. Lovely countryside! That we only stayed 2 nights, another 2 nights would have been great.

Comfortable, quiet hotel in a beautifully renovated former factory. Location, breakfast and staff excelled.

Location is good - easy to reach by car and good parking. Downtown Petaluma is walking distance and has a good selection of restaurants. I recommend the Shuckery! Also, a great cocktail bar is just a few minutes away - Mario and John's. I was surprised to find the breakfast buffet is served with disposable plates, cutlery and cups which is all thrown away into one bin, including food scraps. Not a great eating experience - even a comparable hotel like the Premier Inn in the UK provides guests with real dishware. Can't understand this decision and didn't love it. Also - to assure European guests, the hotel is a 10-15 min walk or short Uber ride from some nice restaurants and bars. I was surprised to find this after the front desk recommended I get Door Dash if wanted some dinner.

Hotel was in a great location, clean, quiet and we enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again!

Room was very clean. Beds weren’t that comfortable, more on the hard side. Hotel aesthetic was good.

Stayed at Hampton Inn Petaluma and it was adorable, clean, and clearly updated. My room was quiet and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. Great breakfast options and an ideal location—would definitely stay again.

I liked every thing inside the property. But I would like to see new good quality refrigerator and a microwave inside the rooms. And garden chairs need cushions , that would be great. More shaded trees would be even nicer as there are no lawn at the property. The staff are great, every thing inside is very clean and nice. The house keeping ladies are really very clean and hard working down to earth.

Property always clean and welcoming. Staff helpful and accommodating. The only thing I don’t like, I some rooms the television is on the side wall of the room, uncomfortable after a while
