Quality Inn Phenix City Columbus

The staff was friendly at the front desk and the housekeepers were nice. However, the room was in poor condition. The mirror was cracked, the lamp shades were very dirty, and the entire room smelled terrible, almost like mold or mildew. It was very uncomfortable and hard to sleep there. I was in town for a funeral and this was the only hotel that wasn’t charging over $1000 for the weekend due to Auburn University’s homecoming weekend.

The hotel was clean, but the room was run down. Room 202 .The floors were not level. The headboard was crooked. The curtain was ripped. The windowsill was not attached to the window and large wasps crawled out. The toilet paper holder was not attached to the wall . The breakfast was bagels, muffins , cold cereal and a pancake conveyer belt.

The bed was soft The room smell like humidity mold and the tv was an older model, which didn’t go up barely any couldn’t really even hear the volume from laying in the bed. The staff wouldn’t change my room. They didn’t have an open room for me to get because I couldn’t handle the smell so I just decided to say in that room because I’ve already pre-paid for the room to actually come into the building later on that night to get checked in which was about 7 o’clock that evening. Around 9 o’clock, I had two individuals coming into my room sitting there saying this is their room. The staff done gave access to two men when I already book the room which somehow the staff said it was an error in the system, but I don’t see how when the staff That booked me in was the same staff that did the era a few minutes later the staff decided to come to the room and instead of knocking on the door, waiting for someone to come to the door to see if anyone actually was even in the room and occupied the room. The staff just open the door And came straight on in which I think was very unprofessional because of me being a female it was an uncomfortable feeling that knowing the staff would do that plus give access to my room with two men all in all I would never rent a room from this place again.

The facility was well kept and in good condition. Staff was friendly. Dirty shower and shower curtain. Young lady relaxing on sofa upon arrival that was on telephone, loudly cursing. The night attendant was polite and helpful, but the young lady using every explicit word she could conjure up was my first impression when I walked in.

Pool was green so you couldn't use it.

The staff was very kind and the ac was really cold. The pool was green and algae was growing. We weren't able to use to pool. The breakfast was lacking. There were eggs in the fridge but no way to cook them. The room smelled like cat pee.

The carpet was really stained and gross. The pillow case was dirty and the picture on the wall frame was broken and hanging down

We had to change rooms because of air conditioning and the other room light was out in bathroom

The staff was nice. Our room was okay. Curtains were barely hanging onto the wall and the two lights by the bed were barely hanging onto the wall. If you tried to move them, they would fall apart and not work. The side door was broken and you couldn't use the keycard, she told us to put a rock in the door so not super secure. Remote didn't work for tv.

Good location The first room we were given had an A/C water leak and was extremely humid. We were then moved to a second room, but the A/C in that room was only blowing hot air. The third room was somewhat better, but after having issues with the first two rooms, the overall experience has been very disappointing.

Nothing! The beds were uncomfortable. No hot water. The little fridge froze my drinks. The breakfast was nothing special. We just wanted to get back home. I can’t even get a refund for the night we didn’t stay. I will NOT be using Booking.com again.

Pool was down for 3 days, breakfast was minimal

Our hotel room was in poor condition and did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness or maintenance. The carpet was dirty, heavily matted, and appeared as though it had not been properly cleaned in quite some time. The chair in the room was torn and badly worn, the telephone was broken with the cord disconnected, and the framed artwork on the wall was damaged and appeared to be on the verge of falling. When we reported the broken phone to the front desk, we were told there were no replacement phones or other available items, which suggested that either every room was occupied or that the hotel had no adequately maintained replacements available. Overall, the room showed significant signs of neglect, and the condition of the furnishings and fixtures made for a very disappointing stay.This version is appropriate for a hotel review or a complaint requesting resolution.

Lobby furniture old, the cloth looked unclean. The pool was covered first day. There was a bad chemical odor in the room . I would never recommend this location.
