Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia City Avenue

Breakfast was cold and dry and they did not care and charged me anyways even thou I explained to Cam (front desk)and she did nothing. Parking was charged for all days and I had to deal with that too.

Everything was fine, except no microwave in the rooms. Woulda been nice.

Front desk staff were so busy chatting with each other when we checked in that they asigned us a room that still had a guest in the room. We walked in on another guest! When we finally got to our room, the airconditioner was so loud it was like a generator running in the room. The toilet continually ran and needed service. The iron did not heat up, they did bring us a brand new one in box. They were charging $19 per person for a terrible and cold breakfast. Avoid this hotel its way over priced for a neglected property.

Great stay clean facilities

The hotel stay was pretty nice. The only complaint I had was that there was still hair left over in the bathroom from the previous occupants.

Rude people at desk, no soap at all in bathroom, trash not emptied in room when room service came, iron broke in room, ironing board would not stand up. Just not what you expect from a Marriot.

Issue, visable mold on the 5th floor hallway walls. Our 2nd room the a/c leaked on the floor and was wet in the morning. Great service , start staff. The hotel itself needs some help.

Andrea was super helpful at check in. She answered questions and assisted us with a smile and kindness.

I loved this location. Close to everywhere. Love that a Panera Bread is across the road, Target next door (just walk through the path), restaurant on site, shopping areas nearby, all walking distance.

Usually not bothered with little things but however this time the sliding bathroom door was annoying as it would not always close. Please fix

Smell from a/c was concerning. Smelled moldy. Bed not comfortable. Furniture in room and lobby was filthy. Get them cleaned. Rug in room felt like something had been spilled and dried. Don’t like that they charge your card for possible incidentals and even though you don’t have incidental charges, they charge your card for $50 each day. It takes 7-20 days to be reimbursed. And they tell you at the desk your card won’t be charged, but it was.

Good hotel convenient location

The ceiling of the shower had water spray on it, was discolored and the plaster was coming off. And the shower drained very slow. Angel at the front desk was helpful with getting out Marriott rewards linked to our stay and getting us a late check out. The staff also helped store my bike so it was not in the rain on the back of my car. Service and general cleanliness of the hotel was great but disappointed in our specific room.

Highly recommend staying there as it was clean and well-maintained

AC going on and off non stop during the night.

The property tried to charge me around $650 for smoking in the room while I was out to dinner. Fortunately we had a date and time stamped picture at dinner which I was able to argue the charge. It should not have taken 90 minutes to argue this charge on departure. The staff at the hotel seem to take a lot of stock in the automated smoking detection technology. We also had a drain pipe that leaked into the room at midnight and was forced to change.
