Hotel Anna & Bel

The location was beautiful in Fishtown, very walkable. The staff helped me find a place to get a blow out and the food on the property was amazing. They were able to serve my husband and son and I a late dinner and we were able to work after breakfast on our laptops, good WiFi and nice and quiet. The decor was lovely. Lots of fun books and cozy nooks for reading.

Hotel well laid out and loved our room but probably will not stay here again. Value and experience did not align with the almost $700 nightly rate. Misinformation on bar being open, it was not, after inviting friends for drinks so shifted to restaurant and took so long had to cancel half the round. Got back from dinner and bar closed again so no place for nightcap or dessert.

Very unique property in the city of Philadelphia. Small historic boutique hotel updated nicely, however for the price there were some significant inconveniences. Parking was free, but a six block walk away. It was ok to drop your luggage in lobby and make the walk, but that's not convenient. If you were lucky enough to find curbside parking, that's an option. Your car is subject to the safety of the neighborhood though. Also, for the price of the room it would have been nice to have some bottled regular water in the room. There was sparkling water for sale ($$) in the mini fridge, but common, it was an expensive room! The Nespresso coffee didn't taste that good using tap water as a result. Also, being a refurbished very old building there weren't very many electric outlets in the room. It would have been nice to have an outlet near the desk-like piece so I could charge while doing some work etc. Just not enough outlets for the amount of devices I needed to charge, Room was quiet at least. Sooo, a valet would have been nice for my car, bottled water in room, and more outlets (especially considering the price of the room $$$. I'll stay at a big hotel next time in the historic district not too far from here.

It was magical.

We went on Labor Day with my child and my partner and had such a nice time! It was surprisingly quiet and relaxing for a holiday. The aesthetic is what made me want to visit in the first place, and it was even prettier in person. Everything was clean, the staff was nice, and the whole place was beautiful. We really enjoyed ourselves and I’ll definitely be back!

Lovely space - the shady pool, quirky room, excellent food. The staff is young but charming. We barely left the hotel, and wished we had more time there.

This place is so tastefully done and the experience supports the amazing details of the property. A gem of a property.

The hotel is in a lovely historic building in Fish Town, far above the grandeur of the (semi-gritty) neighborhood. The interior accountremonts are tasteful, eclectic and understated and inviting. The beds are wonderfully comfortable. The pool space is also interesting. The staff is helpful and outgoing. Great restaurants in walking distance. The only snafu is the parking and luggage drop off which is in very close quarters and can be a challenge with day to day traffic. Overall a lively experiment in an emerging neighborhood in Philly. Pleasant stay.

All of the staff were sensational & super helpful. The property was really well kept. The Caletta bar on premise was beautiful with really great drinks & food.

Great room. Beautiful property. They could use a proper coffee setup. Not the push button machine at a higher end place like this. Very happy overall. Will be back.

We loved the food and drinks at Bastia. The pool is fabulous with cool towels and these little personal fans (old school, you wave them). The rooms are large with very high ceilings and exposed beams. There was a comfy chair and little reading nook, ample clothing storage, a large stocked fridge and bar and good-sized bathroom with the coolest robes. The staff are fabulous. Wesley in the bar was terrific. Breakfast servers had great recommendations. And thank you so much to the front desk team who got us in after an early arrival. You won’t want to leave this place. We will be back ❤️

Amazing boutique hotel with wonderful touches in a unique part of Philly

Great hotel that has the potential to be even better. The food was incredible, and the decor was warm and inviting. Staff could be warmer and more welcoming to visitors, but overall it was a great stay.
