Staff were very helpful with check-in, parking validation, and directions.

Good location for what we needed. Easy walking to restaurants. Parking is extra and tight.

4:00 is check in time. I knew this going to the hotel however as a Marriott Rewards member the front desk rep told me that I could get in earlier as long as a room was available. This was not the case. So when we arrived, we did not check in and get our keys. We leave for the concert. Fast forward, concert is over and we try to get into the hotel and cannot get in without a key. All 3 rooms were paid for in advance. After knocking on the door and yelling for help, another person staying at the hotel let us in. We finally get to our rooms, and my room had a problem with the AC. I honestly understand not being able to get into our room however other hotels in the past have said to us, you can use all of our amenities, bring your things in and we will keep in a holding room and maybe let us know that we cannot get into the main lobby without a key or give us a heads up if we leave before getting our keys we won’t be able to get in later. Also, parking was over $40 to stay overnight in their parking garage. Other than that, the rooms were very clean and beds were comfy.

Cute hotel in the center of town, staff was super friendly and helpful. We were able to walk around town to coffee shops, Boba drinks for lunch and much more. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful space near to unique shops
-
This hotel is dishonest, unethical, unprofessional and just took our money without providing any room nor service. You put a shame on the hotel industry and to our first visit to Philly. STAY AWAY from this place!!

Better restaurant and buffet option
-
The hotel was clean throughout, and the staff were very friendly. The location was very pleasant, with many great restaurants nearby. The one downside is that there's no restaurant inside the hotel itself. Recommended.
-
Great location plenty of bars and cafes around the area, 25 mins walk into city.
-

Great hotel amd customer service

We easily parked in the garage next door which has an elevator directly into the hotel (bring your parking ticket to have it validated and pay inside for a lower rate). The front desk employee was amazing- super friendly and helpful with a couple questions I had around Ubers and getting to Citizens Park for a concert. There was also lots of excitement around World Cup and the lobby had decorations that made it feel festive. Our room was great! Very clean and spacious and the bed and pillows were honestly the most comfortable I've slept on in a long time. The hotel location is also great- walking distance to so many great little restaurants, coffee shops, etc. as well as being right in the heart of University of Penn. Right across the street is also a Wawa for any items you might want for your room. Hotel and staff were wonderful! If we're in Philly again we'll definitely be staying here.

Parking was excellent, room was clean and spacious. Only complaint is there was no microwave. Other than that it was good.

Our entire experience at Sheraton, University City was fantastic. From the moment we got there, Jonathan - I presume the manager - took over our intake and provided us with all the information we needed to access amenities, the gym, the room simply everything. We can’t say enough about the staff and the room maintenance. The view from room, everything room from soup to nuts: our best experience staying in Philadelphia ever and we’ve been coming there for about 10 years. Thank you!!
