Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel

Location is very good!

Very convenient location for Universitu city, very close to UPenn and Drexel campus, very lively area, there are convenient stores across the street that are 24/7 open. The room was small for four people, we could not use the room for anything else but sleeping.

Good option by Penn Campus and near restaurants and shops. Parking garage is easy ($40 per day). Staff are friendly and helpful and go out of the way to help. Lounge could have a little more supplies.

Hotel is very well located for the Upenn campus and has a convenient tuck shop next to the reception. Gym was good as well and hardly anyone around. Room was not clean and was net even serviced and cleaned properly during our stay. The room was for some reason always very dusty which i suspect could be because of the carpet shedding fibers. Also the aircon in the room was super noisy and was leaking water couple of nights. One of the days, in spite of multiple reminders our room was not serviced and we had to stay in the messy and dirty room. As a comp the manager gave us breakfast access next day to the lounge (breakfast also was super crowded and not a great spread). Some of the staff at the reception were less than friendly. For the price and given the Sheraton brand, I was super disappointed.

It was very clean & the staff was very professional. It should have free breakfast with the stay:)

Hotel was very nice except the elevators were slow and at least one was always out of order during our stay.

Construction no longer visible, rooms updated, clean, well services. Staff receptive to comment- loud party on 6th floor outdoor, moved inside at 10 pm to lessen impact on guest rooms above. Thankyou. One Suggestion- get more elevator capacity. Four elevator doors, one for service only, 2 in use, one elevator seems to be shaft only, wasn't in service the 3 day stay. Had quite a buildup several times with guests waiting.

Room was dirty, dusty, bathroom was really dirty when it was assigned originally. The room was really dusty. Elevetors were slow and out of 4 only 2 worked.

Check-in staff, Madison, and Concierge were great. Room coffee was great.

Close to metro transportation

The only issue (which was temporary) is that they had only 2 elevators for a tall building

What a great find! We were so pleased to stay here when our flight was cancelled. The bed was comfortable, the staff super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. Wouldn't ask for more (except for a flight that wasn't cancelled!).

Sheraton offered the 1 day in & out parking service and it was so convinient for Upenn family to stay for move in.

One of the hotel managers noticed we were struggling with the luggage abs immediately jumped to help. Great customer service and nice renovated rooms.

It was a very good experience.
