The Inn at Penn, A Hilton Hotel

Clean and super expansive room. Check-in staff (Maxx) applied a CHoP patient discount to the parking charge, which we were unaware of. They allowed for a slightly later check-out. Dined in the restaurant, which was top-notch. I would stay there again, without question.

From the time we checked in until we left the following morning, there was a pile of dirty towels and several bags of trash sitting in the hallway outside our room. Seeing them there the entire stay made the hotel feel unkempt. Inside our room, the carpet had several noticeable stains, and while the bathtub didn't appear dirty, it was heavily stained and cracked, giving it a worn appearance. The wall-mounted shampoo and body wash dispensers were also empty, with full replacement bottles simply left sitting on the shower ledge instead of being installed. We had also planned to use the fitness center, but upon arriving we were told it was closed due to construction. It would have been helpful to know that before our stay. Overall, the location was perfect for attending a concert, but the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and amenities made this a disappointing experience. While the staff was polite, we don't think we'll be returning.

We were greeted by some of the friendliest vallet staff I have experienced. They called upstairs and arranged an early check-in for us. At the front desk, we were again met by great service. Very accommodating. If it weren’t for the experience of one staff member, which was immediately resolved by management to our complete and beyond expectation satisfaction, everything would’ve been a five star rating across the board. Well managed property. We will definitely stay here again.

Very convenient for campus and nearby parking

Stayed here as it was close to the Penn Medicine Hospital so I could walk over, about a 15 minute walk. Property is well located near/of University of Pennsylvania’s campus. Parts of the rooms were updated, the rest less so but there is plenty of room and it was clean and comfortable.

The place is in super convenient location with attached bar & restaurant, with cafe. Staff at front are very friendly and of course rooms are great!

Everything was the best hotel experience!

The hotel location in the middle of University City gave us easy access to Presbyterian Hospital, train station, and restaurants. I exercise regularly, and the hotel facility was excellent.

Exceptionally clean with abundant space that is well designed. Wall is a little bit thin as I could hear neighbor's dog bark intermittently but otherwise cannot hear TV or people talking from next door. Will definitely come back again.
