Courtyard by Marriott Phoenix West/Avondale

Good.

Staff was always nice helping and caring. Everyone offered water for my dog and us.

That said, I expected a bit more for the price we paid. The front desk staff didn’t seem especially welcoming or eager to help, which made the overall experience feel less hospitable than I had hoped. The air conditioning also struggled to keep the room cool, especially during the warmer parts of the day. One small but recurring frustration was that although we registered our reservation for four guests, the room was only stocked with three bath towels, requiring an extra trip or phone call to request another. The beds were comfortable enough, but the pillows were few in number and offered very little support. Nothing about our stay was terrible, but it also wasn’t particularly memorable in a positive way. While the room itself was nice, the overall experience didn’t quite meet our expectations, and I would likely choose a different property the next time I’m in the area.

I live that they have Starbucks and I don’t have to drive for coffee just have to downstairs.

Great staff ! Relaxing visit

Excellent staff the female at the counter was an excellent host. She greeted us and answered all questions we had. The room was great the bed was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. The only issues I saw with the room was the exhaust fan in the restroom wasn’t working so when we showered it was like a sauna and the other issue was the A/C made a vibration noise when it was running but besides those minor things it was a great place to stay. We will definitely stay again in a few weeks when driving back home to California.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which makes every stay enjoyable. The breakfast offers a great selection, and the bar is a nice place to relax and unwind after a long day. This hotel was in a great location close to everything that I needed. The room was nice but a little dated in the bathroom and the air didn’t quite work as well. The the pool was nice and big, but wasn’t really clean around the area. The staff was great super nice and friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Clean room ac worked perfect! Was able to get well rested for the time being there.

Great area just needs some upgrades to the bathroom.

The staff We were told breakfast would be from 6am - 9am and when we went down there was no breakfast

Everything was fine no problems

Gazebo infected with ants. Sofa bars pushing through cushions. Sliding glass door only opens a third of the way and very difficult to open. Ran out of towels at pool after 7 at night. No free breakfast. Dusty room and bathroom dirty. Toilet has to be flushed twice. Not enough coffee for our 3 day stay. Air conditioning very poor took forever to cool room. We have stay several times and this probably be the last. Very disappointing.
