This property is very convenient to downtown Phoenix without having to pay the exorbitant downtown rates. It is very airy, bright and clean. The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Having to park at an off site garage.

Near the hospital where my husband was staying. The parking lot was outside of the building.

The room was very nice . The location . Hard to find . Lack of donate and parking was off site

The only thing is the parking availability, they do offer a extra lot thats at the side of the road tho.

Parking, tv didn’t work, unhelpful staff, I was put in a handicap room and could not hang up my clothes.

Parking is included, but the parking structure is behind another hotel rather than directly at the Holiday Inn Express. This meant walking from the garage, around the other hotel, and back to our hotel. We attended a late-night concert and had to make that walk around midnight, which felt a little concerning and inconvenient. Breakfast, usually one of the reasons we choose Holiday Inn Express, was disappointing. The pancake machine and omelet bar weren’t working, the milk was expired, and the complimentary coffee machine was unavailable because it needed to be cleaned. We also got locked out of our bathroom because of a broken latch. Maintenance took about an hour to fix it, and we were told the previous guest had broken it, which made us wonder why it wasn’t addressed before our stay. While the room was clean and comfortable, there were too many maintenance and service issues for this stay to meet the standard we’ve experienced at other Holiday Inn Express locations.
