Nice hotel for the price.
-
Friendly staff, conveniently located
-
Nice hotel except the bathroom. Toilets need to be thoroughly cleaned because we saw lots of black and pink dirt in the toilet.

Great property, clean, and modernized. Front desk staff was awesome to work with very kind and helpful.

Stayed 4 nights for a family reunion. Staff was fantastic making sure we got connecting rooms. Both rooms were very clean and well maintained. Location was great. Plenty of food options and a Target right across the street. The indoor pool was a great feature and the breakfast was really good and well maintained. The only thing is that we were on the first floor and the traffic going to the pool was very noisy and you could hear kids screaming in the pool frequently (I have kids so it didn't really bother me) so if you're noise sensitive maybe ask for a higher floor.

I've stayed at plenty of Marriott's and this one was not very clean. They had a broken light in the room, crumbs in the pull-out extra bed, the 2nd tv wouldn't work at all. We noticed different things broke here and there. Overall, just disappointed.

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. What a nightmare!!! Made this reservation to come to Kennedywood not knowing the next day we would be in the red zone of an air quality alert. Called Friday to try to cancel our reservation and get a refund, the lady at the front said no problem let me try to cancel it for you. Proceeded to tell us she was as able to cancel it and give us our refund and we should receive an email of confirmation. Get off the phone. Get an email just saying it was canceled, no refund. Call her back and she says it was canceled but that we had to call Expedia for our refund and that most people know that. Then why in the world would you tell us you were able to refund and cancel our reservation?! We ask for her name and she tells us she is uncomfortable giving us her name as these things normally don’t turn out well for her…. I WONDER WHY. Yet she has literally all of my information Long story short my reservation was never canceled I had to pay Expedia a fee to cancel it. & still have yet to receive my refund. I highly recommend spending your time and money elsewhere. Very unprofessional establishment. I’ve never experienced such a thing in my life.

I hate that the yo ya i have to be critical of the property because the staff was friendly and as helpful as possible. Rooms were not up to the expectations we had for the branding. Our group booked 5 rooms and none were exempt from outside noise from halls or rooms with common walls. Housekeeping was not done for 72 hrs including towels and garbage cans. When we asked for basic amenities, staff was quick to respond. We didn’t feel we were being unreasonable in our expectations for the price point. We also had the misfortune to be booked during a youth baseball tournament weekend and the kids ran up and down the halls knocking on doors. The staff responded when asked to intervene. I have only one suggestion for how that could have been handled differently but that wouldn’t have been appropriate.

The woman that checked us in was phenomenal!

She needs a raise!

Location is good, not noisy. Older hotel, they did their best to update. Plumbing is questionable, sheets are in need of replacing, but still worth our money.

Karen at breakfast and Alyssa behind the front desk are ALL-STARS!!! They helped make our stay pleasant, welcoming and comfortable. Room was spotless, comfortable, very roomy and good temperature. Used the pool and it was super clean! The pool guy even stopped by while we were in the pool and tested the water and gave the all clear. Breakfast was delicious but enjoyed Karen’s joyful service even more. Needed some things for our friends in the room and Alyssa made sure we got everything we needed. Overall a great stay and would definitely stay again and recommend it!

Exceptional

On the plus side, the staff and desk manager were pleasant and helpful (to the extent they could be given the circumstances), the ice machines were working, linens were clean, and the fresh coffee station was much appreciated.
-
I had to reschedule my stay and was charged for the room anyway, even though I paid the extra money for the insurance, and I have made several calls, left several messages in attempt to reach the Springhill suites manager and have been unsuccessful and have yet to receive a callback.

Trundle bed was dirty. No hot tub. Room near elevators so was very noisy.
