Wingate by Wyndham Pittsburgh/West Mifflin

I loved the convenience, it is near my relatives that I was visiting and to great restaurants and shops, I've stayed here before and liked it so it was the obvious choice for this visit.

It was very nice, and affordable You could do not control it the traffic. In front of the building

Sink water faucet not operational. Waterf barely trickled out. Bath room waters were excellent.

No swimming pool for the kids!

Our room was not the cleanest, with visual cobwebs and some food remnants under a nightstand. But the beds were very clean. I was really happy that they had Dove products in the shower, but then they were mostly empty. We didn't tell anyone at the hotel as we brought our own products anyway. We also didn't complain about the cleanliness as we were only there to sleep and spent most of our time not at the hotel. The staff were friendly and breakfast was adequate. The rooms could use a refresh.

Room was good, staff were great, breakfast was mediocre.

*On a side note * New carpet & fresh paint in the rooms might help mask the stale cigarette smell in the rooms - not sure what would help the marijuana smell in the halls.

There was a tornado and extreme weather warnings. Hotel staff was not helpful in cancelling room or listening to the problem

Staff was great. Not much for amenities. Rooms were clean.

Flexibility Water bottle and pill found under bedside.

Staff nice. But never received new towels etc for our second day. Had to go get them. Free bottled water was nice. Hallway carpeting was disgusting. Didn’t know if was a blood trail or what. Phone didn’t work to call front desk. Tv kept cutting out. Bed was comfortable

I personally would not recommend this hotel. The carpets a dirty; I could not even see out of the bedroom window it was that bad. Overall there was a pervading smell of damp throughout the corridors and our room.

The hotel was in a great location

Construction in the area made it challenging. The parking lot in front needs work. We had a good night sleep.

Hotel was OK. Check-in took forever, as they had to check in each of our 3 rooms separately. Ceiling finish was falling down in the bathroom. Breakfast was adequate.

Nice place to stay and quiet

Parking was ok, felt like you may be in a sketchy area. Landscaping was overgrown and weeds everywhere. Interior room was greeted by warm stagnant air for a June arrival. Room itself was hotter than the outside ambient temperature, with the ac unit taking quite awhile to cool down the room after a long commute and a mandatory 4pm check-in time.
