Quality Inn Plainview

Lots of parking, convenient location to the University. Beds were comfortable but it is an old building and needs some major up keep and repairs.

This property had not been maintained. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the floor was in dire need of repair. The planks were loose and chipped. The outside of the entire property was not well maimed at all. The parking lot was in bad shape. The property needed a fresh coat of paint. There were dead weeds growing through cracks everywhere. What little grass and landscaping was over grown and not well maintained. The entire property looked old, tired, and run down.

Really no amenities, it was a quick stay. The first room the gave us was dirty like if someone was already staying there. There was drinks, food a shirt hanging, The bed half way made. The next room was cleaned good thing it was just a 1 night stay.

This hotel is awful. We had to go through 3 rooms to get one and then it was still awful. The place smelled like a sewer line had broke and the front desk staff were rude. They gave us a dirty room and were rude like it was our fault! It hadn't been cleaned from the previous guest. Flys - everywhere!!

Ice machines broken. Pool was dirty

Hotel not (motel) was newly remodeled room, forgot to remodel the front door and bathroom doors . The front door would not shut properly, toilet bowl was loose and I wouldn’t shower there. Toilet paper rack was rusted out. Pretty bad, don’t recommend.

Awesome staff and stay.

Housekeeping did the best they could do with the room. Our room was on the 2nd floor and had several sunk in spots. As the upstairs walkway was EXTREMELY cracked, it makes sense that cracks run under the flooring in the rooms. The faucet in the sink is not solidly mounted. A wild trail of a gooey substance was at the top of the stairs and on every step down. Maybe leaking trash? The young man who checked us in was great. The location was convenient. The furnishings in the room were good. The bed was comfortable.

The staff was very helpful to move us to a different room.

The front desk was very helpful when we had to decline to stay at this hotel. I am waiting for full refund due to the issues that made it physically/medically impossible for us to stay.

I checked in and by the look of the place I should’ve ran.. when I got into the room. The AC wasn’t working. I called front desk and they said there was nothing they can do about it. They didn’t have any extra room. I called Expedia and they said they would help me with it. The manager said they would give me a refund. They just needed to hear from Expedia. manager denied refund. Just wanted One day refunded since it was booked for 2 nights so I can go elsewhere, which I did. There was no way I could stay in the hot room in the 80s at night in that room. Expedia made it sound that They just needed to talk to the manager, but when they got back to me and said the manager denied it after my daughter talked to the manager who said all they needed to hear was from Expedia so between them too I didn’t get that one day back so I wasted 100 dollars on that one night and had to spend another hundred at a different motel.. never again will I book through Expedia, especially the way they advertise that motel was nice making it look like they had all the stars. That’s false advertisement.

Staff was very nice, at least they had truck parking. Everything else was between a two and a four star

The TV did not work. The girl at the front desk tried to help but nothing worked. Then in the middle of a shower did I realize there was no body wash whatsoever. The doors need to be shut well otherwise they remain slightly ajar. The staff was very friendly though.

The only downside was that the ice machine was not working, and the washer and dryer were also out of service, which was inconvenient during our stay. If those amenities were available and functioning, the experience would have been even better. Despite those issues, I would consider staying here again because of the cleanliness and excellent staff.

Motel had new paint and furniture but same old doors and windows. There were no additional security locks on windows opening onto walkway. There were bugs in the bathtub. The floor was sticky. The lobby wreaked of smoke and was loud from the music from the bar next door. Never again.
