Awesome place to stay really enjoyed
-
Great place to stay and at a reasonable price. Lovely bar and grill on site. The only downside is there are no elevators so if your on the 2nd floor your huffing the luggage up. Otherwise a great place to stay

The property was clean. It was beautiful. I love the waterfalls. The overall atmosphere was great.

Particularly helpful, friendly staff at checkout desk and in Pivot restaurant.

We arrived at 10am and asked if we could check-in early. The front desk staff said our room was ready but we were not allowed in it unless we paid a $40 early check-in fee. The hotel was not fully occupied with guests, a slow weekend. Our room was ready. There would be no harm to let us enter our hotel room early, as it was clean and ready for us to occupy. This initial interaction of not allowing us to have an early check-in ruined the mood of the one-night stay. The bathroom, albeit clean, was distressed. I saw signs that the place is preparing for a (badly needed) remodel. The fixtures and caulking were old and dated. I will choose a different hotel chain next time entirely based on the fact that I was denied an early check-in when my room was ready. The hotel was just trying to get more money from me. And an extra $10 to park your car. Having those benefits as part of your hotel stay would earn high marks in my customer service review.

Good front desk and house keeping service 👌

Very beat up property. Poor staff/customer service. Mediocre is too high of a mark.

LOVED the garden view and balcony with chairs to relax and enjoy some coffee outside.

The guest room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel is in a nice location, quiet but easy to access many places.

The outside patios overlooking the landscape and pool is relaxing!

Convenient location, very friendly front desk staff. Quiet, well appointed room.

There was a lot of poop on sidewalk between the parking lot and the entrance. The security door to the outside did not lock. The bed was off the frame, so metal pieces stuck out about 6 inches at the side of the bed in the middle. The thermostat said the battery was low in the evening and was totally dead by morning so the thermostat didn’t work.

I like the gardens to walk around and relax. Didn't like the shower tub, looked disgusting, we didn't shower due to this.

Location Expensive

The staff I experienced on past stays were very responsive and accommodating. The grounds needed some love with huge cobwebs on the patio furniture and the surrounding bushes but I excused that, as they were under renovations at that time. This time not so much as I noted a homeless person sleeping/camping on the steps near the building my room was in, alerted the front desk staff, and they did NOTHING although they said they would. The person was still there the next morning when I left. I didn't want to walk the grounds that night because I didn't feel safe without an escort. I didn't appreciate that, as it's substandard to the Marriott brand. I wanted a room with a bathtub and reserved a room based on that criteria. I asked her to clarify but she simply placed me in the room for a person using a wheelchair. I was too tired to request a different room, as I'd been traveling all day. Small thing, the television did not work i.e. "no signal." Also would've appreciated a pool/spa hour adjustment for summer hours, closing at 10pm. I sure do miss the days of the past where hospitality wasn't just a "job" but a professional position with quality standards and excellent customer service. Paying top dollar and receiving substandard service is never fun!

Inviting reception area. Friendly staff. Nice room in 500 building overlooking very nice landscaping. Some traffic noise but very quiet compared to sites by on ramps.
