Went through Expedia that charged me $166 and the property charged a room rate with them for $256 on top of $166 I already paid and that wasn't for incidentals that was $100 separate which understand. The staff said they took care of it but it seems as though the re fund is going to take a few days...

Amazing would stay again

Room was clean, staff was helpful, did not have breakfast or used the bar.

My go-to in the area when not staying with family. Clean, lovely, easy parking. The restaurant is excellent.

Housekeeping was a problem. Original room we checked into looked like the maid had laid on the bed and never straightened it afterward. Second room they put us in had a used washcloth in the shower. Otherwise it is a very nice hotel. They just need to fix their housekeeping staff/process.

It was a return stay to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary, we stayed the night of our wedding. The was a heart shaped rose petal display on the bed and a nice handwritten card on the counter. Nice touches.

Our stay was fabulous. I can’t say enough good about St. John’s.

This is a new favorite place to stay when flying out of DTW. The property is beautiful and the stay goes 100% to charity.

Helpful staff and beautiful grounds

Service to the room a little lax.

Every moment and service of our stay at the St. Johns Resort was EXCEPTIONAL and can't wait to return Not one thing

Great place to stay. Historic, elegant, and immaculate. However…pillows too tall.

Ok

I was given an upgrade for extra charge however room was smaller than before. The bed’s leather headboard was worn down. I had to put air conditioning to 65 F but it was still hot. The snacks on the table had prices on them. I didn’t see any value of upgrade. Also, the front desk check in staff did not make me feel welcomed! Not happy this time,

It’s beautiful and historic The desk clerk upon check in wasn’t very friendly

The Inn at St. John’s is a beautiful property. Unfortunately with all their outside events it is hard to be able to dine at their restaurant 5ive as they are totally booked and you have to leave the property to find another place. They also give you four pillows on the bed but they are all the same overstuffed foam pillows. We stay here often when we are in town as it is convenient to visit family but it seems like it is becoming more work to make it a nice and relaxing stay like it used to be.

Beautiful architect grounds artwork. Five steakhouse was delicious. Dining alfresco lovely. Wait staff professional and friendly. Wine Grotto exquisite . Golf course first rate Chintzy with toiletries . Pool wasn’t conducive for swimming. Hot tub could have been hotter with better jets. Evening deskman not friendly

The next day morning just before 9am there was a fire drill for the hotel staff - was thankful that I had not planned to sleep in. I was able to use the meal credit for breakfast, though they had run out of the item I wanted. Anyway, the room was gorgeous and perfect, which was what mattered most to me.
