The property was very well maintained. The hotel is always nice,…and Five Steakhouse is excellent as well!

The resort itself looked very nice, and the staff did arrange alternative accommodation and transportation after they were unable to honor my reservation. My confirmed reservation was not honored. I was only informed after arriving at the property that they could not accommodate me and that I would have to stay at another hotel. I had just arrived in Detroit after an international flight from Germany and was specifically staying at Saint John’s because I was attending a conference there. Being relocated to the Sheraton in Novi created additional travel, lost time, and unnecessary inconvenience during my conference schedule. Although the replacement hotel and transportation were covered, this should have been communicated well before my arrival, not when I reached the front desk.

Staff was friendly but disorganized. Gym equipment was not well maintained. Weight’s not usable. So only aerobics. Some trouble getting the room cleaned but room was wonderful. Grounds were beautiful. Pool was weird. Can’t do laps. Fountain in the middle so very loud.

All was great! Food, service and rooms. The only thing I would change are the pillows. They are too hard and full. Too thick for back or stomach sleepers. I’m a side sleeper and they were still too tall for both my husband and I. Please change your pillows.

The property is gorgeous! We had our 25th anniversary event there. Multiple restaurant & bars. Beautiful gardens. The staff were all exceptional! I can’t think of anything I did not like.
