The location. Rooms are nice but the TV remote control did not work. Had to watch TV on my computer.

We were in town for a wedding, and this hotel is like a Motel 6 at a hotel price! This is our first time in the Port Arthur area. We've read a few reviews, but didn't know what it was actually like until we got there. It is roomy with a lot of extra spaces, yet, I don't think it is worth the price!

Charged me for a room I don’t use and they had agreed to move forward to the next nite Did not have my reservation when I arrived. Put me in a room and then tried to enter the room at midnight. We are an elderly couple and were very frightened by the event.

The front office staff was nice and polite. And the location was good. I booked a long bed and when got here she told me I was upgraded to a nicer room, cool so when we got in the room it was 3 double hard beds( it’s just my husband and myself). Next morning we go down for breakfast and all the food was gone at 7Am. Go back up to the room to relax before we check out at 11 and get a knock on the door telling us it’s time to check out at 9:14 Am . ( check out is at 11 am). The price for one night was more than what I’m paying for 2 nights at another place.

The evening staff were pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. The breakfast host remained on her phone for nearly the duration of our visit. When I asked for cream, milk or hot water she told me they didn't have any. So eating cereal or oatmeal was a poor choice to have picked. The eggs were nearly gone and were never replenished. She refused to look up when younger customers went to her with questions preferring to remain on her phone. The trash was so full nothing more could or would fit so the tables were stacked up and crusty, she never offered to clean any of them. Pretty disappointing particularly when they boast about having breakfast.

Absolutely terrible experience. The owner of this property is beyond unprofessional. He flat out refused to accept tap to pay — in 2026, what hotel doesn't accept basic payment methods? When I tried to work it out, he was rude and dismissive about the whole thing. Then he refused to refund the room. I almost ended up sleeping in my truck because of this man's stubbornness. The only reason this isn't zero stars across the board is because the lady working the front desk was genuinely kind and tried to help — she deserves better than working for someone like that. Do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else. The owner's attitude alone makes this place not worth the hassle.

Cleanliness and quiet It is way too expensive for an outdoor motel, which means you enter the room from the exterior like a motel 6! I paid 140.00 which is way too expensive for a motel.
