View was amazing, cleanliness was not that great, from coffee sopills on floor ,something on the comforter. Plus some greasy finger prints on bathroom door. Staff was amazing also. Still a 5* place
-
The view and being on the water was great, but at that price I would expect the room (and balcony) to be cleaner.
-
Loved our view from our balcony. Fabulous location for strolling and many places to eat are within walking distance.
-
Very clean, recent remodel, super relaxing with jacuzzi tub Used laundry room to wash all the clothes we had worn on our previous hiking days No breakfast, that was the only downside/ but wonderful coffee shops in very little walking distance Would definitely stay here again!

The view. No cleaning service. Hardly a “suite.”

Young man offered to show me where my room was. Very nice. Pillows are terrible! View from room was awesome! Nice if pexiglass around deck was cleaned.
-
Great location but room was oddly designed.
-
As always, we loved staying at Tides Inn. The views are incredible, the room was super comfortable and clean, the space is really quiet and set back from the road. We watched boats and seals and an epic sunset from our back deck. We love staying here.
-
Great water front location. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and stores.
-
Room overlooked main road and motel is physically close to the main road. Very noisy.
-
Loved the balcony and location

You aren't going to get closer to the water! So peaceful listening to waves lap the soar and gulls talk to eachother. Close to ferry, historic downtown, short drive to Fort Warden State Park, ... Don't let the lack of "breakfast included" desway you. There is a waterfront cafe a short walk along the water to Bayview restaurant with excellent food. We are already thinking aboout returning.

The view of Puget Sound is amazing from the balcony. Lovely to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view. The room was clean. It was quiet except for the seagulls screeching. The staff were very pleasant. The size of the room is very nice.

on the water with our little balcony Bed very comfortable handle in the shower

We did have a view of the water, but our room was set back within the building, revealing less than 180 degrees. And the window exterior was filthy, e.g. bird poo. Good coffee, though! Like I said, it’s a 2-star motel. So be it. I guess we now live in a world where we have to pay $100 per star per night.

Room looked fresh with new fixtures. Very spacious. I don't know if our room was typical or special. Jacuzzi Tub and Fireplace. We didn't use the tub though I know that the fireplace worked. Improvements that would be useful. Another nightstand for the right side of the bed. Electrical outlets for today's world to charge devices. A night light for the bathroom, it was dark as a cave. Parking looks to be limited. We were lucky to get a spot in the front of the hotel. Location is right on the water overlooking Port Townsend Bay. Bayview Restaurant is withing walking distance by a path along the shore. HVAC was great, quiet and kept the room cool.

Location perfect
-
The room was dirty. The staff was rude. The rooms are not quiet. This was far too expensive for such a terrible experience.
-
Bathtub was a disappointment.

We stayed in the original building rooms. They were a bit run down I told the manager about a safety concern regarding hand rail at the top of the second floor
