TV size ib front was super nice!

The carpet was so wet and it smelled very damp. I was moved to another room but it is the same thing - the carpet was wet and the room smelled bad. The bed was comfortable and the area.was safe with lots of.food choices around. Please dry the carpet first before giving the room to a guest.

The property was close to the highway inconvenient to shopping and restaurants

One dryer was out of order, and the other one that was available took three different times to dry one load of clothes. Our A/C unit stopped working in the middle of the night, and we had to switch to another room that wasn't even a suite like we were staying in. We were staying in a suite with two queen beds, and a double size pull out sofa bed. They had to switch us to a handicap room with two beds, and a roll away cot. They only refunded us $35. dollars back for the inconvenience. I will say the lady that was working the night shift that night was great, and she even wrote us an apology note but I wasn't so pleased with the morning crew, and the $35. dollar refund. They really need to make the lady that was running the place that night a manager instead of the one that was available the morning we left.

The hotel and the room were clean, but the room smelled musty, like the carpet had been cleaned and it needed to be aired out. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great!

The hvac system in the room did not dehumidify properly so the room was very damp. After the first night, asked the desk if they either had a dehumidifier I could use or another room. No dehumidifier. They issued me another room. Walked in and same issue. Cold and damp with the a/c operating at 65 degrees F. I declined and decided to ride out another night. AM day 2, I asked if I could check out a day early. Unfortunately, they said bookings with Expedia are non-refundable for ANY reason. The gentlemen at the desk did offer to refund the pet fee if I decided to depart early. I appreciate his effort but was not going to pack up our things and move to another property and essentially pay double for a room that was uncomfortable to say the least. This same gentleman did caution me for using a third party to book rooms which I thought was odd considering they probably wouldn’t be in business without sites like Expedia directing traffic to their property. That said, I will take that under advisement next time there is a chance plans may change and I might need to depart early. This however, was entirely on the hotel management for poor quality control of their hvac systems. And when they have failed at a basic comfort expectation, a satisfactory remedy should be available. We visit Knoxville regularly for family and will not be staying here again. Lawncare was not evident and our dog had to wade through high grass and weeds to potty. Wouldn’t recommend.

The first room we were given was occupied or not cleaned after the previous guest. The second room had a shower with banging pipe noises. Breakfast was good, but the staff started knocking at 10:45 am to notify us that check out was at 11am and continued by other staff members up until 11am. Horrible customer service when I complained.

While the room looked clean, there was a very unpleasant odor present. During check-in, another guest came to the desk to speak to the clerk. She interrupted the process and asked them what they needed. They proceeded to complain about something they found in their room. The clerk gave them her whole attention while handing me a room key without talking to me. The mattresses are old and unwrapped. The room was so humid that the sheets felt damp when we got into bed. The front door was broken. The breakfast area was not clean. Although we booked the room for 6 (we had children with us) we had to go to the desk to get sheets for the pull-out sofa. I would not recommend this hotel.

Very clean. Good breakfast! Staff was polite & helpful!
-
Great breakfast, comfortable bed, bathroom was not clean.
-
No TV for 24 hours and no pool the whole weekend because teenagers threw food or something in the pool!
-
Great stay with everything you need at arms or legs reach !
-
Beds /Pillows seemed new and not worn down. It’s an older property that’s been cosmetically renovated. TV’s are not “smart”. Overall a great value for location and comfort.
-
Best hotel on our trip...clean, comfortable, nice view of the hills of Tennessee, friendly staff, great breakfast...and appeared American owned as everyone spoke English...
-
Nice, cozy rooms. Nice staff.

Great place to stay on vacation.

Our bed was very comfortable. The had a hot breakfast: biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, pork sausage patties or links, two waffle makers, breads and cereals, fruit and yogurt. We stayed three nights and it was the same everyday. Location was on a hill just far enough fro the road and freeway to be quiet. We walked two dinner twice and to the grocery store. Building shows wear. The stairwell smelled bad and was dirty. Multiple doors were stuck and difficult to open and close.

Staff, location breakfast was all great. Dislike the smell of carpets throughout the hotel. Musty smell!!
