Staff was very polite and professional. Room was very clean and full of necessities. We loved the rocking chairs out front

Lovely place

Comfortable bed! Clean hotel with friendly staff.

The rooms are in desperate need of updating the carpeting looks new however the bathroom was clean but really outdated and they put a mat in the tub to hide the wear and tear. The front desk and the gal handling the breakfast were both very nice.

Pool not swimmable in our opinion, definitely needs updated, nice stsff and great location

The hotel in general is very well kept and looks nice however the beds in our room were terrible. Very old and worn out and lumpy. Worst hotel beds I’ve ever been on. Did not sleep good at all. Breakfast was great and had lots of fresh choices.

My family stayed for a total of 3 nights. Upon arrival we originally booked a one bedroom suite that we didn’t receive. We were told that other guest had came to upgrade their rooms before we arrived. We did not receive the suite and had to end up purchasing another room to accommodate our family. The front desk lady was confused and gave us misinformation which then was even more misconstrued by the manager that basically said he couldn’t give us what we booked because there was none. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. We also had problems with the breakfast because there were no meat options available during our stay. The manager informed the kitchen attendant to close down the breakfast area while we were still dining in the breakfast area. She wasn’t very friendly and clearly had an attitude. Again if you have a large group I would highly recommend going somewhere else because they couldn’t accommodate us after we spent thousands of dollars at the establishment due to it being a reunion.

My family and I arrived later in the evening to stay overnight half way through our road trip for vacation. Upon entering the room, we were greeted by an unpleasant smell with no known source. Also we didn’t receive the correct sheets for the pullout, had stains on the mattress pad, drawers that wouldn’t close on the dresser, garbage on the floor, and even had a cheap excuse for a carpet patch job in the corner. Additionally, our dresser was being held up by cardboard blocks and sandpaper pieces to stop the wobbling. Next up the bathroom, cracked and dirty tile floor, the top of the toilet seat appeared to have rust stains on it or even something worse, the shower had appeared to have been repaired with some type of makeshift patch covering the entire base of the tub. Unfortunately our morning started off with a fire alarm which we then learned was from an employee burning cookies. Then to add to the fiasco, we were greeted with cold breakfast which was attempted to be kept warm using crock pots. Overall, we were very disappointed in the management and upkeep of the hotel.

Convenient location to split trip from Pittsburgh to Myrtle Beach. Nice staff. Furniture outdated, facilities a little run down.

Everything Nothing

Breakfast so-so. Hotel clean. Bed ok

The staff was amazing at this hotel! Anything we needed, they provided quickly (shower chair for my mom, extra towels, pillows). I would stay again based on the staff attentiveness alone. Location is convenient. Property is dated and needs upgraded carpets, paint and furnishings.

The facility has changed a lot over the years. The property - outside and in - is just okay; not as clean as it once was. Lobby floors, elevator doors and walls, as well as the window in our room had not been cleaned in a while. The most used areas - towels, sheets, sinks- were fine. It just looks like the facility could use some maintenance and upkeep. Staff were friendly.

Breakfast and location were very good. The staff at check in and check out were excellent. I had reason to contact the property after check out and spoke on a few occasions with James who was absolutely excellent to work with. The pool was freezing. We picked this hotel because it had a pool.
