What I liked most (Pros): Clean lobby, friendly staff, convenient highway access with plenty of parking, and lots of nearby restaurants and gas stations. What I dislike (Cons): Overpriced for the quality ($135 Friday / $180 Saturday). The King room was outdated, with a saggy couch, an old, 10+-year-old flat screen, and visible carpet damage in the center. Most importantly, the shower had little to no hot water. Review: I stayed here as a solo traveler. While the lobby was clean and the front desk team was very helpful, the room itself did not live up to the listing or the weekend rates. The room was clean, but the lack of hot water and the outdated furnishings made it a poor value. If I had my family with me, I would have checked out and gone somewhere else. I likely won't stay here again.

Location is very convenient to interstate and shopping. Staff wonderful & so very friendly.

We got to our room and door was open and room uncleaned. Got to another room and there were dirty beds sheets in front of door. Finally 3rd assigned room was available. Shower barely had water coming out. Breakfast was weakest I have seen. When we arrived, there was food spilt on the stairs, and it was still there in the morning. Price was low, but quality was lower. Experience was mind blowing.

Cleaning crew was pleasant, jolly and very polite. Check in lady was less than pleasant. I felt like a big bother to her, after my 12 hour drive.

The whole day was a fiasco. We arrived and everything was in total chaos. The laundry lady had been terminated that day. Half of the cleaning staff did not show up. And it was the new GM‘s first day. The front desk lady was overwhelmed. We were not able to check in until 7:30 PM. Arrived in the room it was adequate. Toilet seat was loose toilet paper holder was loose and eventually came off the wall. Freezer in the fridge had not seen a defrost in quite a long time. Soap dish by the sink was filthy. TV offered 97 channels. 12 channels came in. Of the 12 channels approximately 2 to 3 worked because others were pixelated and sound went in and out. Addressed this with front desk and we were told that we needed to go through our booking agent to have this corrected. WHAT?! I doubt seriously that we will be returning. We have stayed here the last two years when we came into town for a family reunion and it was OK for the price. But this year it was not OK for the price or anything else.

Room was no ready for check in at 930 pm. Hallways filthy. Two different times someone tried to enter our room

Overall the property is dated and dirty. Our rooms weren’t terrible but the hallways and stairs were disgusting. The side door to the property wasn’t locked, one room had food in the refrigerator, one didn’t have a trash can. I’m not sure how breakfast was because we couldn’t wait to get out of there and left as early as possible. The staff was okay. Maybe the only positive.

The main purpose of making a reservation is to get a good nights sleep. For whatever reason the beds provided and excellent nights sleep for both my wife and myself. There were some relatively minor issues, lights not working properly when first tried (not sure why they eventually started working properly - but they did). Starting the TV (and switching stations) was very frustrating. Took awhile to ‘learn the ropes’ via trial and error - but eventually we were able to locate channels we wanted to watch. Staff were very cheerful and helpful - five stars for their efforts!! Although not perfect - the price was right. We’ll return for another try subsequently.

Pool was cloudy and cold, no chlorine in the indoor pool

My room was not properly cleaned. Dusty desk, bedside tables and lamps were all VERY dusty. One lamp did not work at all. Bathroom countertop, sink, and mirror had not been cleaned. The floor in the bathroom area where the toilet and shower are had not been cleaned/mopped. Neither had the shower floor. It looks like someone came in and changed the sheets and trash can liners and that was it. Thank goodness I had my Lysol disinfectant wipes in the car. There was no A/C in the dining room area. With 90+ temps outside it was unbearable to even go in there. I have stayed here many times over the years and have never been so disappointed as I was with this stay. I will choose another hotel on my next trip to Princeton, even if it costs more.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall the building was worn and dirty. The main stairs were dirty. Upon entering the room it smelled like a locker room. Lights did not work and there was mildew on the bathroom ceiling. The beds were clean and comfortable! The breakfast was expected although the family in the dining room in bare feet was definitely odd.

Friendliest staff in town! Very clean and quiet rooms.

Carol at the front desk, was simply wonderful! The only thing we had a bit of a struggle with was adjusting the temperature on the shower. Otherwise, the stay was fantastic.
-
Pop machine was stocked with expired products that were flat. Bathroom had cockroaches in it.

Would not recommend pool area was disgusting could not even see through the water dirt and water throughout the area no ventilation. Rooms are in dire need of updates and very musty.
