Stoney Creek Inn Quincy

When I got there the bed comforter was rumpled. I tjhought it look like somebody slept there. The Sheets were dirty bed was horrible and uncomfortable. Hair all over the shower and bathroom sink.

Pool was closed. We came in at 8 at night to a dirty room. Had to wait for bedding until after 11. Only had one person on staff trying her best to handle all the problems. She was great and was trying but she was left with too much to do on Friday night.

They were also out of bath gel and used shampoo as a substitute. I would say that the staff went out their way to be helpful.

Breakfast was ok. Remote in room didn't work. The gir that checked us in was about the onlygreat thing.

The room was ok, but seemed really damp (and kind of had a funny smell). Even running the air conditioner and exhaust fan didn't seem to help. The pool was out of service while we were there, which was disappointing as this was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. The next morning at breakfast they were experiencing some power outages so the eggs, biscuits and gravy weren't hot and the toaster wasnt working.

The hotel isn’t your typical Stoney Creek hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location and the breakfast was a nice perk. The hotel has a Motel 6 or Super 8 feel with Stoney Creek decor. It’s a great inexpensive place to stay.

I enjoyed the decor and Stoney feel. Pool area was nice with indoor and outdoor pool. The hot tub area was down for maintenance during our stay but they do have a sauna also. It is a smaller hotel I would say and a smaller breakfast options. Overall I would stay again. Also could never figure out how to actually get to to the channels on the paper guide.

Always a great stay

I have stayed here in the past, but it has been a few years. It definitely is showing its age a bit and it looks like some of the maintenance is a little lacking.

Bathtub had used band-aids stuck in it. Had to go to front desk to get a roll of toilet paper. Building was clean. Indoor/outdoor pool hooked together was cool. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I got there after 9pm& I reported right away that the room needed soap, it was empty & also sent a video to them via their texting line that there was excessive hair & dirt on the floor of the bathroom as I wiped it up in the video w/toilet paper & threw it away. They did not respond to me. I repeatedly sent other texts & no one ever replied. I went to the front desk, no one was there, she was in the bar. I asked her about the texts & was told it's night time so she doesn't look at the texts @night. My husband went to try out the pool&hot tub & was told the pumps are broken so not able to use them. She met me upstairs & handed me some soap. I messaged about the rusty doorframes&shower curtain stains. No reply! I took lots of photos of the bloody looking marks on the shower curtain, clogged fan in the ceiling of the bathroom that was black from the dirt & grime, the nasty floor&rusty doorframe. I messaged them about it but no one replied! -MORNING: Food was undercooked & Cold (Eggs & Potatoes) & biscquits were like rocks/Hard! Many dairy items were expired/past exp date. The main Lights were off in the breakfast area so I turned them on as the room was very dimly lit & uninviting. I Texted again in the morning & again no reply. Then I received notice that they are trying to charge my Credit Card for things & not letting me know what they are for. I bought Nothing & left my room nicer than when I arrived! This is SHADY!

Need a better cleanning team

Nice place. No complaints!

Had to wait at checkin and checkout for a staff member. Hotel, especially hallways, smelled bad, like mildew. Could use a comfortable chair in the room. Breakfast and coffee were good.

Pool and hot tub were closed. Was not aware as we booked thru Expedia and did not find out till we drove 2 hours. Room was discounted. Breakfast was good except pancake machine was not working.

We’ve stayed here several times, but this was different. We were looking forward to a little hot tub relaxing, but it - and the pool were closed (by the health department!). The tv remote didn’t work even with assistance by the very helpful staff - not a really big deal. The breakfast was excellent everyday.
