Perfect location, great bar!
-
Good location, very large room and walking distance from restaurants, North Carolina State and other amenities. I arrived an hour after check in time and still had to wait another 40 minutes to check in. The front desk staff could have been more communicative about what the issue was.

Everything was great, except I didn’t know their pool was closed. Would have liked to know that when I reserved the room.
-
The smell the look of the place. It felt like home. I enjoy every bit of it. The bar, the restaurant that had it over there everything I like everything so I don't have no dislike
-
Convenient parking, super friendly staff, fully stocked bar, super clean/comfortable rooms.

Great Property
-
Very nice hotel in super convenient campus location with on site parking for reasonable rate. The rooms are very nice with comfortable beds and showers. Would stay here again!

There is not a pool at this property, it was very disappointing to pay over 300 dollars a night and not have a pool as it was listed in the amenities on Orbitz.

Nice Location, Staff Nothing

The property was not worth the money. No breakfast was provided and there was daily parking fee of $19/day. We had travelled from Scotland to stay across the street from N.C. State University. Instead we were given a view of a back parking lot in the opposite direction. There were hardly any rooms being occupied that had a view across the street to the historic campus so this didn’t make any sense and was inconsiderate. For a one night stay of over $300 this simply was overpriced and a disappointment. For these reasons, we would not stay at this hotel again nor could we recommend it to other travelers. Now let’s see if management responds to this honest and factual review. I’m not going to hold my breath, that’s for sure.

This is a very clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff throughout. Top to bottom a great experience.

Location

Very clean & nice hotel. Love the fact it’s so close to NC State campus! Only downside was no complimentary breakfast & have to pay for parking.

I like how clean the hotel was my room the smell throughout the hotel. It was just a very welcome hotel. I love everything about it

Superb

When we checked in, we were given room 207. This room was on the ground floor near the lobby, and the floor to ceiling windows faced the second floor of the parking lot in the rear of the property. There were cars parked directly outside of our window. The air conditioner in the room was extremely noisy as it cycled on and off during the night making sleep all but impossible. Essentially what we wound up with was a $40 per night motel experience but we paid $250 for it. On the positive side, the location of the hotel directly across from the Clocktower at NC State, with a viewing deck facing Hillsborough Street was unique and very nice. This is a really nice area of Raleigh adjacent to the university. It really deserves a hotel that lives up to its price point. I’m a long time Marriott Bonvoy member and this was not my usual experience.

If you're looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay, this property fits the bill. There's no pool, breakfast, or coffee, but there is a very nice coffee shop on property. The staff, to a person, were very helpful and courteous. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Food wasn’t ready at desk when ordered online

Breakfast was terrible. Waffle was inedible.
