The cleaning wasn’t good in the rooms
-
Location Dirty, halls and floors dirty, elevator broken, and parking not included in price. Additionally staff at reception were not accommodating
-
The beautiful views and location T he hallways were dirty and we had issues checking in. Staff very nice and fixed issue

Bed was good, but bathroom was too small, could not even hardly turn around! Breakfast area had nothing to select from, coffee was terrible and for such a large expensive hotel you should be able to serve a better breakfast, if not do not advertise you have one because you really do not. You need to expand the area if you plan to offer breakfast! Nine of our family members stayed overnight for our Grandsons EARLY MORNING college graduation AT NC State. We did not expect such a small area. Also, our son saw a man who was staying their empty your small refrigerator of all the bottled orange juice and put them in a bag and then leave! I guess he liked your orange juice brand!!

The aircon wasn’t the best, the elevators were honestly awful and I seen a review where 1 was out of order like 6 months ago and it was still out of order! If this was half the price it would be a 7.0 but it was so expensive probably cos of the location.
-
Great location and wonderful staff! We were very well taken care of and our stay was comfortable. Couldn’t stay longer.
-
Friendly workers. One elevator wasn’t working. It was a little farther from what I needed, but that was my fault. There’s no restaurant on site.
-
It was in the middle of everything and the staff was amazing Only 1 elevator

I loved the location of the property! Very walkable areas around the hotel! Very friendly staffed and very helpful. We stayed for four days and three nights. I did not like they had some elevators not working at the time we went. The breakfast is not as the usual hotel spots I have been to with a big breakfast. They do provide breakfast such as muffins and bagels and fruits and juice etc. But overall very good stay not much to complain about. ☺️

The location was convenient. Leaky faucet, no hot water, broken elevator.
-
Location It’s old
-
One of the elevators being broken made it tough to get to rooms quick, and the hallways leading to the elevators were dirty
-
Location The staff was rude on there phone, booked a King put us in a full size double bed it smells and falling apart staff sleeping in the lobby horrible experience we will never stay there again
-
The staff were nice. I generally love Holiday Inn and I will stay in one, even this one, again. Overall it was fine. But there were a thousand little things that were disappointing: the wallpaper was peeling, there were paint flecks on the floor; the air conditioning was difficult to adjust; one elevator was out of service and the other shuddered; there were no additional amenities or at least I was not told of them; the TV remote was held together with cellophane tape; there was no guide to available television channels; the ice machine was really hard to find; etc. etc. All the little things that make a stay really comfortable were absent.
-
The check in receptionist was very rude and in a hurry, no explanation on after hour elevator use. No refrigerator or microwave Could use outside elevator after hours
-
I was not able to even check in here because I was under 21 (but an adult), even though I BOOKED IT AHEAD OF TIME. There was absolutely no warning that you could not be under 21 to check in. When I got told this at the front desk, she offered me absolutely no other options or advice, once they basically screwed me over. I had to find a place 30 minutes away, on my own and with the help of another hotel. Absolute mess if you aren’t 21. Staff not helpful!
-
All in all nice hotel, close to city center, for low price. The breakfast is a joke.
-
Overall a nice stay, location very good Small bathroom

The location is convenient. The building is old and it shows! Decor looks old and worn throughout the entire hotel. Sanitation rating is below 90. Only one of two elevators in working condition, and the one working sounded as if it was going to snap loose. There is no restaurant, so you can’t order room service. There is no vending machines so you have to buy snacks from the hotel. Be prepared to spend $10 for a soda and a small bag of chips (incredible price gouging)! You have to pay for parking at location. Cost is appropriate but for just a few more bucks you can stay at a much better place! I can’t believe this is associated with Holiday Inn, normally a much better brand.
