Our stay was great. If you’re looking for peace and quiet this is the wrong area to stay in. There are 40 plus restaurants and bars in the liveliest part of town. You will hear motorcycles revving their motors and cars and trucks revving their engines. Lots of laughter and music.

The front desk team was incredibly welcoming, making us feel at home the moment we walked in. The room was large and spotless, with a remarkably comfortable bed, fast WI-FI and the breakfast selection exceeded expectations. The hotel's convenient location near major landmarks and NC State University It was easier for us to arrive on time for the Students and Family Orientation, We will definitely be back!!

Close to clubs and bars The price was a little bit higher

Called ahead of time to ask about pool. Get there and the pool was closed for renovations. Apparently when you call you dont get front deck but someone from corporate. The parking was an extra charge and across the street this was inconvenient and unexpected. The hotel was close to restaurants and very walkable. The breakfast in the morning had lots of choices and great coffee. Due to parking fees and no pool we wont return.

if you stay at this hotel, insure that you do not put your clothes on top of a worn out old upholstered sofa. Not a good experience

The hotel was clean and neat and had a nice corner room, but it was noisy as my room faced the club across the street. The hotel does provide earplugs and a white noise machine and fellow hotels.com reviewers and the hotel itself in the lobby warn about the noise. Biggest issue that could have really ruined my entire trip was the front desk attendant who checked me in. I needed to use their parking garage across the street, and the card they gave me did not scan properly at the garage and directed me to contact the operator, so in my rental car, I had to dangerously back the car out of the single lane and into the traffic on a busy city street. When I went back to the attendant, she had a bit of an attitude, and intimated that I was in the system, but then she scanned the same card and gave the same card back to me, and then the card scanned properly across the street. When she checked me in, she was also on the phone, so I don’t know if she accidentally did not scan the card or if it’s a computer issue, but either way that could present a real problem to your guests and present a perilous situation. The front desk attendant was NOT Tianna, she was really sweet and checked me out. Your other hotel employees that I encountered were courteous at all times, and you need to investigate why that happened or you could be a contributing party to an accident. I was pissed when I saw the parking charge go through.

Nice hotel. Really nice breakfast set up. (The pool is closed for renovation ... June 2026 ... check on that before booking if you need a pool.)

room was great. clean. good view. location was perfect for anyone looking to see downtown. lots of food and entertainment within walking distance. plenty of activities to do and a park a few blocks away

Nice hotel. Really good breakfast bar. Pool is being repaired so currently out of commission (June 2026).

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The room was very clean and they had great breakfast food but the girl that checked us in was not very friendly. I was not told I would be charged $30 to park my car in their garage and the pool was closed

Excellent location for my visit. Friendly and helpful front desk staff as well as breakfast staff.
