The front desk staff was kind, polite, helpful and professional even with our very late check-in. The property is right on the interstate and truck noise is significant all night. That may not be an issue with you. It was for me but not for my wife. You might ask for a quieter room on the opposite side of the building. It was too late and we were too tired to ask for a different room and move all our stuff. The couch in our suite was so badly stained that we didn’t dare sit on it or place any of our things there—yuck! General deferred maintenance was obvious in our room and hotel common areas. The room smelled VERY strongly of a perfume meant to mask odors. I opened the window and hall door to air it out to a tolerable level. I know people who are sensitive to artificial scents and this would definitely have been a dealbreaker for them. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean so it served its purpose. There are no USB outlets and it’s clear that this property has skipped updates for a while. If you’re having a tough time traveling and expect this to be your little oasis at the end of the day, it’s more like just an okay place lay your head and bathe—which can be a blessing, depending on your needs. I like having breakfast included, yet even at 8 am (breakfast ends at 9) there was no more bacon and none to replenish. I thought that was a bit of a cheapskate move.

Parking, check-in& out easy, okay breakfast. Our room had old bagels in the closet, the air conditioning didn’t work and the toilet ran.

    Everything else was great

Clean rooms, good station with coffee and tea in the evening. Good breakfast.

A little outdated, but decent. Shower had water damage and looked to be ill maintained.

This place is in need of repairs. Shower curtain rod was falling down. Paint peeling off walls, floors were dirty. Won't stay again.

I will definitely be staying here again. The staff was very friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. Love having a sink and a dining area

Such a small city but the County 6 bar and restaurant was a relaxing place to end a long day of driving. The hotel was clean and we had rooms that were away from the highway noise. It was nice to have a couch to sit on rather than just a bed. The so called "Room Service" was a joke. It took 50 minutes for one order to arrive and after 1 1/2 hours we cancelled the second order and went to the restaurant next door, placed an order and were eating a delicious nacho buffet in our room in less than 10 minutes. The front desk didn't have any idea what the "Room Service" was all about. Evidently, it was some organization in Las Vegas, that hired out to hotels. I will stay far away from that gimmick in the future.

Great clean place to stay. It is near the interstate so rooms on that side is loud. But overall, staff was nice, place was clean and well maintained.

A/C did not work in our room. No security door lock. Microwave kept turning off when we were trying to heat frozen dinners. The room was clean and breakfast was decent.

Rawlins is a nice little town with a variety of restaurants. We loved Ichiban, which has lots of sushi but also a very entertaining Benihana-style habachi grill that’s a great floor show. Also a good wine list, reasonably priced.

You get what you pay for. Overall ok, probably best budget hotel in Rawlins. Just make sure you don’t get a room on the I-80 side due to the noise. You can’t control the thermostat in the rooms for some reason, but it wasn’t an issue really. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were overall comfortable. We would stay here again if needing to stay in Rawlins on a budget.

I guess I booked a handicap room ? No ice or vending machines on my floor. Looks like it was replaced by washer & dryers?

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Booked two rooms. AC controls in both rooms barely worked. No phone to contact front desk in one of the two. No hot water available for the stay. Staff unhelpful about the water issue, just offered a weak excuse on check out. Attempting to figure out how to get a refund for the stay from hotels.com, so far stuck with a useless chatbot. Not happy with either the hotel or this website at the moment.
