1st Choice Inn Rawlins

The price. Surroundings. No hair dryer in room.

If I ever stay in Rawlins again, this hotel would not be my first choice.

This hotel does not look like much on the outside, but my room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast provided was once of the best ones I have come across for hotels at this price point. It looks a little rough on the outside, but it is a gem on the inside.

Was greeted with a smile and nice

Very clean, nice staff that treat you like family. Good breakfast and close to anything you need. I don’t have anything negative to say. But if I have to pick something…. Their internet wifi is not good. But cell service was great so I didn’t care.

Helpful and willing to accommodate. Comfortable, clean rooms.

The beds were comfortable the room was clean the staff was great the only down was I had to go to the front desk to get bath towels... we had zero... we had hand towels and wash clothes other then that all was well... I cant comment on breakfast because I did not eat there 😀

Super helpful staff, a clean quiet room, decent location… couldn’t ask for more for the price! Very happy with our stay and would happily stay again

I was traveling with a dog. The room had a mini fridge , a microwave , a large TV , & two queen size beds. The room was pretty clean and it didn’t smell like cigarettes. It would’ve helped if they would’ve left a document that said what channels they had on their TV because I only found a few. The breakfast was good: yogurt, muffins, waffles, boiled, eggs, fruit cups. I would say that the biggest problem was something they can’t fix. The south side of the motel backs up to the railroad tracks and some type of construction company. There’s no grass around the whole entire motel, so when I’m walking my dog, we’ve got scrub grass and broken glass. The staff was very friendly and even supplied a few dog treats for my dog. I prepaid for my room and when I got there, I had to pay a deposit for the dog and then a small fee. The problem with that was, I couldn’t use the same card that I used for the room and I didn’t have a different card. Everything worked out; it was just a lot of stress after driving a long ways.

Breakfast was really good had a good variety of food. Considering it was quite a small establishment it provided a good breakfast. Nothing really for money paid was a good one night stop bed was comfortable.

Clean, great breakfast, friendly staff. The location leaves a bit to be desired.
