Motel 6 Rawlins, WY

Refrigerator was broken in our room Put my leftovers from dinner in there turned up the temp to max cool. Opened it in the morning and the fridge was room temperature. Destroyed all my food. Tv remote batteries did not work. Changed the batteries but the volume and power button still didn’t work. Weird men lingering in the hallways talking on their phones all hours of the night. Felt very unsafe.

This room was nothing like what was in the description or on line. It was a totally different property that they had online.

Room was disgusting, black mold on base boards, blood spot on carpet, toilet paper holder falling off, carpets extremely gross

Although the room was somewhat clean, the room was obviously old and needed renovation. The bed worked just fine for sleeping. No bedbugs and the bed was clean.

Staff was kind however the room was not clean not kept well. There were stains all over the carpet, carpet was getting ripped up, the chair had stains and a burn mark on it, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, stains on the sheets, and there was a horrible smell in the room that I don’t know what it was whether it was chemicals or something else but it gave me a huge headache even with opening the door wide open for fresh air. There was no WiFi, and the pool was not open/filled. I appreciated the kindness of the staff but the room itself was unclean and horrible.

Friendly staff and great overall experience

I arrived at 10PM, There was no one at the desk. I was about to call the number on the counter sign, and a person began speaking to me via the lobby camera. Once I told them I had a reservation the informed me the key to my room was laying on the counter. I went to my room which was dated but clean and slept for about 7 hours. When I left at 5 am there was no one in the lobby still and no coffee available. AC unit was loud, but it was too hot to sleep without it.

Great choice on any commute.

Very clean room, very quiet, and the staff are very helpful! Close to the small downtown area and easy check-in/out

The staff was not available at the front desk. You could find him in the bar. The place is dirty and falling apart. When we called to cancel our return trip, no one answered the phone and we couldn't leave a message. We went in person, on the way home to cancel and again couldn't find anyone to assist us. Someone came in from the outside to assist us but told us we could not cancel with them at the front. We left and stayed somewhere else. This location needs serious help and should not be listed on Expedia or Motel 6 until it has been updated and improved. The restaurant isn't open, the pool is empty and has a hole in it and the rooms are hot.

There is no dining area or place a place to eat except a soda vending machine. The floors are dirty, there is no shampoo, creme rinse or soap for the bath. There is a single slim bar of soap at the sink. The towels are thin. The floors and shower tub are slick when wet. The rooms smell musty at best. The air conditioner is old and noisy. The registration clerk is found in the bar and not at the desk. You need to seek him out to be able to register at all. I do not recommend this location. In fact I strongly recommend that it be taken off of the Epedia and Motel 6 listings until it has been made habitable. Ruth

The front desk Clerk looked like he had been sleeping with his eyes half closed when we showed up. The hotel smelt like old smoke and booze like a bar. Our room key didn’t work several times and needed to be replaced. We finally get into the room and it’s old dingy stinky carpet and old blankets and sheets with stained furniture. The bed was lumpy and there was a huge indentation where it looked like a body had been laying in it. I can go on and on. It’s the price it is for a reason. You get what you pay for. If you don’t mind sleeping in a truckstop bathroom then you’ll be OK there. Oh I forgot to mention they double booked our friends room, and somebody walked in on them while they were sleeping.

I was surprised to have a bed that was really comfortable. We opted to save money and use Motel 6 and glad we did. The room had been cleaned well, but needs deep cleaning. The carpet looked dirty and the chair was stained. I just wore socks and put a towel on the chair. The staff was an on-call staff and took awhile to get service. But nice when they got there.

No one at desk for checkin. Sign said back in 15. Checkin time is 3. I was there at 3 and no one to help. Called numbers left at desk for help with no answer. Clerk showed up at 310. - said checkin was not until 3 and it is long walk. Handed me key - said it might not work - come back and he would let me in with key. Back door left open entire stay - not locked. Won't stay here again.

Very dated hotel, needs to be renovated and maybe better maintenance staff.

Poor service, sketchy location, pool had no water, there was no breakfast, despite the hotel claiming to have breakfast on their website, we smelled gasoline in our room during the night, no staff available to call or talk to at the front desk in the am.

Room was very spacious and clean
