Thunderbird Lodge

Great location, in downtown. Looks like it was renovated in last 10 years or so, pretty modern room. Helpful staff, and decent breakfast, usual free breakfast, good enough. Air conditioning is loud, could not hear the TV when AC was on. This is probably your best choice if you want to walk to the downtown area. Also, plus, there is a 24hr donut place close to the hotel. They need some quality control on cleaning, the bed cover was dirty, but otherwise everything else was clean. I would stay again, and price was not bad, but not many other good choices in downtown area.

We really liked this hotel - very clean and well maintained. We especially liked the location. You can walk easily to restaurants in the area.

I was on my way to Portland for a family event. And stayed the night in Redding. I was looking for an affordable and conveniently located establishment. Well, I found it at Thunderbird Lodge! The staff was kind and the room was very clean. Being right in the heart of downtown Redding was a concern in the beginning for potential traffic noise. But honestly, It was quiet in my room and I was able to get a great night's sleep. The television had many channels including many movies to choose from. The breakfast provided was limited. But adequate and the room therein was clean like everything else:)

The property felt safe even at 2am when I couldnt sleep and needed some air. This is our 2nd time staying here and has officially become our favorite redding stay.

The rooms were newly remodeled and very clan. The location is down town, next to. Heavenly Donuts that cannot be beat! Nothing

The location was good. Right next to a busy road, so lots of noise from traffic. The cleanliness of the room was no bueno, the floor was DISGUSTING. My dog dripped some water on the floor and when I wiped it up with toilet paper, the paper was BLACK. The bottom of my new pink flip flops were BLACK. Hair found on the pillow.

The room was well appointed; the bed was very good and the bedding top quality. the room was clean, the window covering up to date and very effective, as in blocked out all light. The location of our room, about the middle of the property was quiet. I was surprised as the location is flanked on both side by heavy traffic streets. My only observation is the room is minimalistic. There was no closet, just pegs to hang a few garments, nor drawers to unload bags; you are living out of your travel bag.

This is a great hotel. Very clean, updated, friendly staff, and walking distance to lots of great restaurants and shopping. My new favorite place to stay when passing through Redding.

Clean room. They have breakfast but had to leave so didn’t get to try it. Middle of downtown which is convenient.

Fun, clean motel right near the heart of Redding. Perfect for road trips.
