Room clean staff was very nice pool was very nice.

It was nice, but the ac was having trouble keeping room cool during heat wave

Rooms were very nice and clean. Bed was great. And the kitchen was very handy. The property is away from downtown but reservations come with bus passes to transport you as often as needed. They do have an indoor pool, but you have to walk outside to return to the rooms. (Usually a chiily trip)

The pool was great! The decor was nice. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was lacking, no coffee maker in room, had to wait for coffee in breakfast room. Loud because of location.

This place is better than first impression due to transients. It looks like it's either brand new or newly renovated. The floors were clean. Nothing was stuck to my feet when I walked in. Everything looked nice. It didn't stink like fresh paint or anything like this. Just overall impressed. And breakfast was legit

Fun updated vintage motel in heart of downtown Redding.

If you like retro motels that have been beautifully updated this place is for you. You will be greeted with the refurbished original neon sign followed by gracious host. Location location location. Best location downtown with endless restaurants and very safe walking. Well appointed room.

This motel is a gem in downtown Redding. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. It's in walking distance of lots of restaurants. I've stayed here twice now and will try again if I'm coming through Redding another time.

I booked this hotel based on others positive reviews however, upon arrival I did not feel safe as there were signs everywhere in the parking lot about guests assumes risks or something to that matter. The first night I did not sleep as I was worried our mountain bikes would get stolen. The second night I was woken up by what sounded like two women arguing extremely loud, they were cussing each other out and slamming the doors shut repeatedly. The argument lasted about 20 minutes. The street noise and train is heard loudly in the room as well. I tried to cancel my second night stay but was unsuccessful. As we packed our bags to check out we were told that there is a room to store bikes because another guest had their bikes stolen. Our bikes were clearly visible to the person who checked us in and we were never told about the bike storage room, very disappointing. This hotel served it’s purpose of an inexpensive stay to visit Lassen National Park but I would not stay again and I’m very thankful our bikes didn’t get stolen. I should have researched the downtown area before booking. Yes, the room is nicely updated however, I don’t think it outweighs the risk of your car being broken into or property being stolen.
