Portofino Hotel & Marina

This was an amazing getaway! So relaxing and peaceful. We wanted to stay another day! The staff was so helpful and friendly.

Wonderful staff. But I never got my free bottle of wine. Front desk said we were upgraded but we weren't-it was room I booked.

Perfect location. We loved the sea lions and seagulls! Friendly staff. The little refrigerator could have been updated.

Location was great! Rates a bit high for size of room

However. We had a robe left in our room from the traveler before. Our waters were not restocked nor were the Q-tip and vanity items. I think it was truly missed by house keeping. The bed and towels were cleaned so we didn't make a fuss

Aside from very pricey, you don’t enjoy breakfast along because because it facing the sun.

We loved the water views from our room, E bike and paddle board rentals on site, so convenient, close to everything, great stay!!!!

The staff was exceptionally accommodating, my first assigned room was not well vented, musty odor

The staff were rude, the room was old and not clean, the pool was dirty. The internet was not working, and they charged for it as part of the so called "resort charges".

Room was clean. Staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Excellent location.

The room was dirty. Junior suite prices, dirty room. Also, people letting there dogs relieve themselves in front of your room, and looking into your room, a unique bonus.

Location and view was perfect I was given the room on the ground floor when i had booking for the moutain view. But then it was changed to 3rd floor after asking.

nice people. small rooms, a lot of deferred maintenance. The pics of the rooms and property and pool area are not up to date. It is not that nice.

Would stay here again!! They had private events in the lobby bar area both days we were there so sadly we didn't get to use it. The Pool is small, so we opted to not use it since it was crowded. Otherwise, the stay was amazing. Walking distance to the marina area. The Baleen was great after a long travel day. Had coffee on our patio - peaceful, relaxing, nice room with clean towels, sheets, and everything needed to enjoy the weekend.

Rooms are small for the price they charge, room service food was pricey as well for what it was. Upon arriving, toilet was not thoroughly clean.

Beautiful Hotel and friendly staff. We go to the Redondo Beach pier quite often, but generally stay at a different location for years. Now we will be making the Portofino our go Hotel when we're in town..

We will not be staying here again.
