Redondo Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

We checked into the hotel they checked us in. We gave them the deposit and after that the lady at the front desk, she pulled a parking ticket she said is $40 for parking. I told her why you never told me before we check in. I never paid parking so they waived the parking fee because I’m a handicap then right after that she pulled another trick make us pay $35. I don’t understand why and a lot of people were complaining so that’s it no more stay there.

Too many hidden fees, $35 a day resort fee, $40 a day parking fee… I wouldn’t stay here again and I think Engine should have made me aware of these fees BEFORE I booked this hotel. A $200 per night room becomes a $300 per night room very fast here.

When you have everything perfect what could go wrong. And weather was perfect too.

Pleasant surprise. Will definitely stay again. Wish we had more time in the area. Great location and wonderful staff.

The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in wasn’t very friendly and had poor communication skills.

The service was bad, they sent me to another hotel because the room was not available.

Staff was infomative and very helpful. I cant complain. The price lol? Wish it were a little less expensive.

room not as nice as other hiltons or other local hotels for similar price. added a $40/day parking charge and mandatory $35 food and beverage charge, covered one drink each for both of us at$34, had to leave cash tip, won’t be back

Hotel is definitely not a resort, thus that fee shouldn’t even be applied despite using it as a credit towards purchases. Parking also definitely shouldn’t be charged unless they have security walking around ensuring cars are safe. These are not negative, only providing my opinions.

Clean, friendly staff, and a great bar. NOTHING

The hotel is clean and in a convenient location. Beds are super comfortable. My only issue is upon check in I had my service dog with me. I made it clear she is working and is always with me. I was charged a deposit and parking fee upon check in, obviously normal. After checking out and being home a few days I noticed an unusually large charge on my card statement from the hotel. When I called to inquire I was told I was charged a pet fee, that was a little over 80 dollars. I was never told this would be charged as I would have educated the gentlemen who checked me in on ADA laws. I was refunded the money eventually but I think management should be aware I was never told I would be charged this fee and maybe they need to train staff on ADA rules/regulations.

Access to venue I attended Staff was horrible. Acted as if I was an inconvenience.

The bar tender was rude. He said that he was tired and ready to get off work. I told him that he should treat his last customers just as if they were his first customers of the day.
